Being totally honest there was a hiccup when i first arrived at the hotel involving my room but that didn’t matter because the hotel staff and manager resolved the issue asap. The staff were very polite and welcoming. I loved every bit of the resort and indeed look forward to staying here again when i revisit Cabo. The scenery, the atmosphere & the vibes were all on point here in Riu Sante Fe. The pool parties brought everyone together like family. The food and drinks were nonstop. The beach was amazing. A variety of pools to choose from. Overall the energy was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay.

We had a great stay and you get a good value for the cost. That being said, if you want wait service around the pool or at the beach and top shelf liquor, then you need to pay more than you would at this resort.

My wife and I travel often (2-3times) out of the year and this was her 30th birthday trip. 1) When we arrived to the resort NOBODY, absolutely NOBODY greeted us. Not even a simple “hello! Welcome to Riu” NOTHING. 2) My wife is 3 months pregnant and not once did we get offered help with our luggage. I was looking for a bell boy and there wasn’t one in sight. 3) the food was terrible. Point blank, nasty. Breakfast was fine but lunch and dinner were gross. 4) service around the resort is terrible. We asked for a simple glass/bottle of water from the bar and got told “we’re closed, ask the front desk”. We walked to front desk and got told “go back to the bar”. Service was a 0 in our opinion. Again, we are not used to this. We pay to get served and pay for a great time. 1/5 stars Thanks

Ourroom was great. Staff was courteous. Exchsnge was dissapointing. Asked for pesos for $100 US dollars. Only 20 of the 20 pesos. Almost all 100 pesos. Could only exchange for 20 pesos per day. Led to believe this was an adult only resort. 2 adjoining Riu hotels allowed children and they could eat at our resort. Twice experienced small children (4-6 years old) at buffets unattended and playing with the serving tongs, using them as swords, while their families sat ignoring them. Only 2 of the evening dining choices had wait staff, all others were buffets. I have stayed at many Riu resorts and was always impressed with their standards. I would not go to this resort again.
