This was our 3rd stay at the Rose and our last. Since 2017 it went downhill. Quality of food , Cleanliness. Un Friendly staff. Pool area was dirty. Our room closet smelled like queso. Room was just old and musty.

The beds were hard. If you have never been to Cabo then you may like it because it is on a swimmable beach. Not a lot of restaurants in Blanco or Rose’. The Blanco had 2 great restaurants. The Rose had mostly buffets. Go early so you don’t have the kids and parents grabbing food with their hands. They need to be a little clearer on what meal is a buffet and what is a menu. Not all choices were clear.

6th time at Pueblo Bonito Rose. It may be an older facility but it looks the same as 15 years ago. It is not four season luxury but it is well maintained and nice and a great value. I wasn't sure about an all inclusive but it was very convenient even though we ate several meals away. No complaints and i would certainly come back again!

Beautiful Swimming Beach

The hotel itself was very nice and the beach was amazing! Water was clear and great for swimming. We took advantage of the shuttle that takes you to the Sunset property a couple times while we were there. The restaurants and bars there seemed superior to those at the Rose. Our biggest issue was the service at the bars and restaurants at the Rose. They just seemed extremely understaffed so lines were often long. It wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t return though.

Spend the extra and go to Pueblo Bonito Sunset! Rosè resort is heavily outdated, everything in the room is falling apart, cracked, painted 900 times, rusted. We had planned on our kids splitting a bed + couch. The “pull out” couch is hard as a rock and technically just a pad, not what you would have in mind. Comes with no extra bedding or pillows. Fridge does not come with drinks. Even though we paid for all-inclusive for our children 12/10/7 they don’t get the same AI as us. Their bracelet doesn’t even let them in or room. They are not allowed to even order a Diet Coke without a parent. This was incredibly disappointing and not at all what we were expecting. They are unable to grab ice cream, sandwiches, anything all week without us. The staff are not happy you are there, we ran into probably 3 smiley, eager to be there staffers out of 100s during our stay. At one point at 1pm (prime pool time) they closed our only pool access walk-up bar and told us to use the sushi bar. “It will only take 10 seconds” only 1 bartender at this bar, it was a minimum of 20 minutes to grab a drink and you’re limited to 2 at a time. Poorly managed. Food is subpar, 6 kids only liked the bacon each morning which is an extra charge, every single morning. Oooh the APP!! You have to use their app to schedule a shuttle to visit the other resorts…. It malfunctions a lot and we paid a TON in taxis to travel back and forth. Take my word stay at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset!!! A++++ all around there!!

This resort is fine. It’s lively. It’s large. The food is good. It’s shared with Los Cabos “blanco” next door which we preferred. The poolside service was much faster and it was quieter. Either hotel, you can choose your vibe. If you want to get a chair reserve earlier. Go down in your PJs if you have to and get one before they’re gone - especially Saturdays!
