We had an incredible experience! The resort was outstandingly beautiful and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. All of the dining options and pool services were fantastic as well. Overall I would definitely recommend this resort and can’t wait to come back!!!

The Sunset is a very nice hotel with many options for dining and multiple pools and bars for relaxing. The staff is helpful and courteous. Drawbacks are that it is on the side of a hill and not easily walkable. The beach is also not swimmable with a dangerous undertow. They do provide golf carts to pick up and drop off and are very quick to respond. They also offer a shuttle bus to the other properties Rose and Blanco with swimmable beaches about 25 minutes away. You can also enjoy all of the benefits of all inclusive while at the other properties. Room was clean with excellent maids service. We did have a leak in the ceiling dripping water onto our entranceway. It was quite small though. We enjoyed out time all in all.

Dining options were very limited and the $40 US surcharge at the “nicer” restaurants was unexpected. There were four weddings during our 9 night stay which lead to late night noise. It was difficult to get a good cup of coffee without paying extra for a cappuccino. The staff were amazing, the rooms were great and the whale watching spectacular. Just a few bugs. Very $$$ with hidden costs. Again. Great staff. Love the people. Unlikely to return.

We love this resort. It was our family’s 7th time here and we just love it for the dining options, pool activities, and safety. My teenagers love the activity coordinators, Cristian and Ashley. The main pool servers are amazing…especially Alberto. The Market is spectacular We will be back!

The hotel is very nice and has some nice restaurant options. The grounds are very pretty. The golf carts will bring you anywhere you want to go and we never waited long for one. The downside and why I took away a star is because we didn’t have hot water all week. When it’s chilly in the evening and you have to get ready to go out, I don’t want to take a room temperature shower. Called several times and they pretended to fix it. Very frustrating. I’m not the first person with water issues at this place because I’ve read things on some of the Facebook pages about it. I was just hoping it wasn’t true.

Probably the best food I have ever had a resort!👏👏 Resort and staff did a great job at providing top notch customer service! Only complaint is the transportation shuttles at the resort can take a little long to get on.

This is a beautiful property looking at the Pacific Ocean. During the month of January, you could see whales. It’s a timeshare facility and so you do get people trying to coerce you to attend a timeshare meeting

We love Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach resort! This year they outdid themselves. We were at the Monte Cristo villas where the properties were amazing. The service the restaurant there was spot on and the food was amazing especially the quesadillas. We'll be back next year!
