The hotel itself was nice, our room was clean but the shower curtain smelled of mildew. The bar and casual dining are was seriously understaffed. Too many people for one bartender that handled all drinks and food orders, for those in the lounge area and for those ordering room service. Self parking can be expensive. We bought the parking with our room reservation which saved some money. Parking spaces are super tight! Luckily, we found a spot that we could squeeze into and get out of our Jeep and the same two cars were next to us when we left the next morning! No dings on our doors. Valet parking is $75! Ouch! Not enough staff at front desk either.

BEAUTIFUL facilities! AMAZING staff! Javier (valet) so VERY helpful! My husband is handicapped, Javier unloaded our car-locked up our luggage & brought it up to our room after we checked in. We had to check out earlier than planned, Javier was on duty again & said to call him 15 min before we were leaving & he’d pick up our luggage & reload it in our rental car. Security for guests is a #1 priority-must use your key card in elevator to activate & in garage. We appreciated that. Can’t say enough & can’t wait to come back to the Renaissance LAX!

Beautiful hotel with easy access to the airport. Nice restaurant inside so we didn’t have to leave to have dinner.

This property needs renovation. The carpet looks old and dirty. The wood cabinet spaces are worn. They need to invest in updating this hotel. The parking situation is a nightmare. There is an attached garage, that has very small spaces and not enough spaces. I saw vehicles parked in the no parking zones because there wasn't any place else to park. When you try to exit the garage using your room key, it doesn't work.

I had to change rooms because tub was broken, then the next room shower water randomly got scolding hot and knocking came from fernice. Was too tired to complain and move a SECOND time and staying one night. Once was both a first for me and enough. Was astonished.
