As a heads up- there is no parking available through Hotels.com. Parking was in a lot next to the building and was $45/night. The room (standard queen) was in a studio layout with the shower directly behind the bed. The mattress/ cushion/ sleeping pad was super thin and rock hard- I have slept on more comfortable futons. The door codes were an interesting touch, but seemed a bit much for the front door, elevators, and room. The app for the room door only worked about half the time for me. My biggest issue was that the cooling did not seem to really work. When I entered the room, it was set at 70 degrees and the air was super stagnant. I turned the thermostat down to 62, and left for 5+ hours, when I returned, the temperature was 69 degrees.

Love this place because it's dog friendly and convenient to all my favorite spots in downtown. I stay here whenever I'm in town with my pups. Rooms are a goos size and check in is a breeze. You just go straighr to your eoom using the check in details they text you.

Most important thing for me is good communication, especially when I’m traveling. STILE’s messaging was great leading up to my arrival and I had no issues. Room was cozy. Quiet enough when it was needed and enough to sleep.

Cool old loft type vibes. Cool lottle balcony as well and convenient to lots of attractions and food. Only draw back i had was the bed is not too comfy. Other then that vibe and location alone was good for me and a 1 or 2 night stay

I was flying in late so hesitant because they don’t have front desk staff 24/7. The process was very easy and I actually used the staff more because I could just text them. A great stay and very nice staff members. A quieter hotel than other big names bordering the freeways.

My wife and I have always loved staying at this property. Great views of the city, stylish rooms and a great cafe downstairs. We stayed here a few times while dating and most recently stayed here on our wedding night! I always recommend the Ace Hotel to people when staying in LA.

The rooms are incredibly dated. I chose and paid for a room based off of the photos the website provided. It was not the room I received. When I inquired about it, I was ignored. They have no phones in the room, so anything you need, you need to text this ridiculous text system they have setup. I had issues and demanded a manager, there was none. Our room had no hot water. The first day I expressed this, they sent maintanence to our room and the issue was not resolved so then we were emailed a $30 gift certificate. How insulting! Day two, they sent maintanence to our room while we were gone, despite me very clearly texting not to. Then they sent more maintanence men once we were back, issue was never resolved. When I asked to switch rooms, they ignored me. I then received a text offering me an extended stay. LOL! What kind of warped game is this place playing? No parking. Hotel is in the heart of DTLA so there is tons of homeless people.
