Came For A Weekend In LA!

We had an amazing check in with Tasha! She’s amazing and you guys are lucky to have her. Our initial room smelled funny so we asked for a different room and she helped ASAP! We were so grateful. We were a bit disappointed the rooms don’t open to the balcony anymore but we were happy with the new breakfast offered on the 17th floor with beautiful views just for $5. We had a great breakfast and an amazing start to our day and weekend. Cesar at the restaurant was amazing and very kind and made me feel right at home as I wasn’t dresses for breakfast and was looking crazy in my pajamas and robe (I’m sorry I won’t do that again, I thought it was continental, was just gonna grab coffee and a muffin lol) I love this hotel so much and can’t wait to return. Thank you for always keeping me safe and taking care of my friends and I.

Room for Improvement

I have found past stays here positive but this one missed the mark. Sometimes seemed short staffed. Some front desk folks were great and others not so much. Breakfast at the 17th floor restaurant was subpar as they were not well staffed, ran out of coffee, silverware, and food was so so. Just a poor performance but not blaming the staff they had as they were trying. Had to change rooms after the 2nd night since the air conditioner was so loud and obnoxious. Room change was made without issue and the new room was fine and quiet. This is usually a good hotel with a good price and location. This visit fell short in a number of ways.

Liked the complimentary Uber system but feel like it could use a little bit more work to make it easier and more convenient to use. Staff was really great and friendly and helpful. Our air conditioner in our room was very loud with weird noises but room was great other than that.

They have mandatory valet parking, it is expensive and inconvenient and my car had water spots from being under sprinklers it seems. Also zero sound isolation in the room, I could hear the people next door as if they were right in my room and it has freeway noise. On Sunday their free breakfast was out of hot items, but okay on week days. The staff was friendly and view from top floor restaurant is nice.

Cool place. Glass of wine with check-in. Great breakfast on 17th floor with a view. Easy access to UCLA and The Getty Museum. This was our second stay. We will stay again! See photos for views from room.
