Staff did not know information about the hotel. Room smelled. Hallway smelled! Door between rooms are thin you can hear people talking at two in the morning and at 7 AM. Spa check in was uncomfortable.! Employees provided poor directions!

Casual casino, not huge which was nice and easier to walk around in. Quiet being off the main strip. Rain shower head continuously leaked on us showering even though turned it off as tight as possible. Cleaning staff skipped us 2x which was annoying but not horrible. Monorail access was easy and short walk to get to the rest of the strip.

Unfortunate experience with housekeeping. No show on two of first three days. Room was fine and exceeded normal size. Bath and shower area needed attention. Poor and broken grouting and discoloured. King bed was very comfortable. Overall reasonably happy on our 58th wedding anniversary but, as in many Vegas hotels, some upgrading is required. However the Westgate is in a superb location for the monorail and being steeped in entertainment history is still worth a stay and/or a visit. Due to illness the Manilow show was cancelled on several dates so people with pre/purchased tickets would lose out. Vdery majestic hotel and casino overall, George S B Scotland
