Trump Hotel needs to be trained on providing info

We were on the 59th floor where there was a suicide and fire 2 doors down from us. I smelled smoke and opened door to see end of hall filled with smoke. Security guard was WALKING down hall and told us to leave immediately and not grab anything so we did. Hotel management was terrible. We patiently waited to ask for an info about our belongings and they kept telling us the would call us - never did once. Long day with only swimsuits on when we left our room and it was midnight before we got a new room and "most" of our stuff from our room. We weren't allowed to get it and it was all thrown in bags and our suitcases - shoes on top of dress clothes, etc

The hotel room large and very clean! The staff was polite and helpful. Definitely worth the cost. Parking can be difficult in Las Vegas but they have free valet parking which was so convenient. They had our car ready within minutes and were so helpful with our luggage.

Not Trump Quality I've Come to Expect

Trump has always been my preferred place to stay in Las Vegas, primarily because I don’t tolerate smoke, and it’s refreshing to avoid the secondhand smoke common in casino hotels. However, I was very disappointed with this stay. Upon arrival on a Saturday afternoon (peak check-in time) only two employees were working the front desk. This resulted in a 45-minute wait just to check in. I asked the bellman to notify a manager, and while he said he would, nothing changed. My room and floor had a musty, mildew-like smell, similar to an old cabin. The door handle to the room was broken, and the outlet next to the bed was blocked by a heavy nightstand, making it unusable. The other outlet by the bed was worn out and wouldn’t hold a plug. Strangely, the power in the room seemed insufficient. My phone charged only 5% overnight. At the airport, it fully charged in 45 minutes, so it clearly wasn’t a phone or cable issue. I had planned to take a bath but found hairs throughout the tub. I called housekeeping and was told someone would follow up, but no one did. When I returned from my evening, the tub had been cleaned, but no one had contacted me or requested permission to enter the room. While I appreciated the effort, it was too late to use the tub by then. Given the price and additional resort fees, nothing about this experience felt like a luxury or resort-level stay. Unfortunately, it felt more like a budget hotel than what I’ve come to expect from this property.

Housekeeping didn’t clean my rooms 2 out of 3 days. Mattress needs to be changed and pillows were completely flattened.

Quiet, which is actually nice away from the madness of the strip, free valet parking on site which was great as we hired a car. Staff work fantastic and very professional and welcoming.. although smaller than the majority of hotels there were plenty of sunbeds around the pool and the hotel was immaculate. I would highly recommend to stay here.
