I wish they would’ve had transportation from airport to hotel and vice a versa, and the pool section. Water was ice cold and did not like the idea of sand being in the pool area, but overall I had a terrific stay

Rooms weren’t clean. I found hair in the shower and in the second room the shower head was filthy and clogged and had to be replaced. Furniture and floors were dusty with scuff marks on the walls and furniture. The hotel staff was hit or miss. Upon checking in the woman who checked us in was dry and unhelpful which set the tone for the rest of the stay. The hotel is dead, the casino was dry, the food options are limited, and there was no activity at the pool. If you’re staying in Opal Tower beware there’s a long walk from the front desk to the elevators. The walls are super thin we could hear our neighbors talking and playing music at 3am. The neighborhood around the hotel is sketchy so please be aware of your surroundings. I honestly will not stay here ever again. To charge a $50 resort fee and the amenities don’t even make you want to stay and enjoy them is ridiculous. This hotel needs to really train their staff properly because they are ruining the Virgin Hilton brand name!

When we came to check in, the receptionist named Nancy didn’t greet us and kept a poker face while finishing something on her computer. She spoke in an unfriendly way and was not helpful at all. Later she told us we would receive a text message when the key was ready, but we never got any message. When we came back to the reception, she was just standing aside without saying a word, and finally another staff member helped us with the key. The hotel itself is good, but I wish the reception staff were more friendly — it leaves a bad impression.

I have vacationed in Vegas a number of times and this was my first off strip stay. I really enjoyed it! So far, everything I’ve experienced with the Virgin brand (cruise, flights, and now resort) have been top notch! When staying here, please note that you are about 15-20 minutes walking distance from the strip. It cost me about $10 each way every time I wanted to go. And there isn’t too much outside of the resort to do, so you will be either driving yourself or getting a ride share. But the resort is beautiful, the casino is more intimate than I’m used to, but I loved it. There is a CVS (among other handy stores) literally across the street, so I picked up a bunch of snacks and water there. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again.

I was little unhappy because I had paid for strip view and when I got to my room, There was no strip view , got garden view , which made me unhappy. Didn’t want to complain because I was only there for the weekend but I would been nice to get for what I had paid .

We were so excited to stay here—the suite itself was beautiful and this trip was a surprise for my best friend. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was very disappointing. When my friend went to put on the robe, it was dirty around the neck and smelled strongly of body odor. We checked the other robe, and it was the same—both appeared not to have been washed at all. The bathroom with the small urinal had a strong smell of urine, similar to a public restroom. We had to keep the door closed, but even then the odor seeped into the rest of the room, and the door itself stuck when shut. To add to that, when we pulled out the ironing board there was a used fake eyelash stuck to one of the legs. These issues made the room feel unclean overall, which was disappointing given how much we had been looking forward to our stay. Because we had a full schedule of activities planned, we weren’t able to call down and request a room change, but we felt it was important to share this feedback. The suite looked beautiful on the surface, but the lack of cleanliness really took away from the experience.
