I took a chance and booked this property since many nicer properties did not have availability for one of my nights and was disappointed. That being said I usually stay at top tier properties. This property is very average and is no more than 2 to 3 stars. The rooms are very dated and the location is not that good. Steer clear if you are accustomed to staying at luxury properties.

I've seen mixed reviews about the walking distance of this hotel from the strip. I stayed in tower 3, which is the farthest from the main MGM; the walk time from our room to the "District Area" in the MGM casino and MGM pool was about 8-10 minutes, about 10-12 minutes to the MGM Monorail station, and about 15-17 minutes to exit the casino onto the strip. It's worth mentioning that the MGM Signature hotels, especially tower 1 and 2, are just as close to the main MGM pool as the main MGM hotel rooms. Additionally, there were at least 3 pools at the MGM Signature property that were also very nice with bars/drinks.

Unfortunately we and another couple in our party had to vacate our room at 2 am the first night, due to a sewage backup in the kitchenette sink. It was disgusting and terribly smelly. The desk staff changed our room, but no one offered to help us with luggage, which we had already unpacked. This was after traveling across country and arriving very late. We came to Vegas for a wedding and had booked several rooms close together, many months in advance. We ended up in different buildings/floors from the rest of our party, which was inconvenient for our group of senior citizens. The hotel did comp us the night, but it was very disruptive to our stay. In general the Signature is a very nice place and the rest of our stay was uneventful. The pool is clean and enjoyable and much quieter than the party scene at the adjoining MGM Grand "Lazy River" pool. The ride share pickup point is a short walk outside from the main entrance which was not great for Uber users, since it rained a lot while we were there.

We did not stay at the hotel. I will be contacting you for a refund or refuse the charges on my American Express. I could spend several minutes explaining all that went south - computer system crashed, no reservation, VERY rude staff, hours trying to fix situation, dozens or more people waiting for hours and hours to check in with a manual entry of all information. Finally got a room and left - we turned our keys in 20 minutes after getting them and went to the Saharah. WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The only small positive was the manager who was kind - des not remedy the HORRIFIC experience.
