The entire place, including the rooms, has not been upgraded/renovated in at least 25 years. We know that for a fact, because we were married there in May 2000 and everything is still the same. Rooms are outdated and drab with peeling wallpaper, no coffee maker, no microwave; bed was comfortable and we were “upgraded” to a room overlooking the atrium. Nice view, but hearing the loud roaring from the Mystic Falls show EVERY HOUR until 10:00pm got to be very annoying. The bathtub was slippery; no mat…if either my husband or I had slipped and fallen, we would own Sam’s Town after our lawsuit! There was no shampoo/conditioner/bodywash container mounted to the bathtub wall, nothing but cheap little tubes of shampoo and conditioner, as well as horrible smelling little bars of soap. The towels were as rough as sandpaper. The casino restaurants are nothing to write home about. We had a meal at Smokey Joe’s and the food was tolerable but the service was very slow. The other options weren’t much better. We made a reservation for 3 nights, but checked out after two. We were refunded the resort fee for the third night and that was the end of it. No interest on any employee’s part to hear our complaints. We will never go back!!

The room was great but I wish there was a coffee pot in the room because both of us are handicapped and have trouble getting around. Or eaven room service would be nice so at least we could get coffee without having to go out to soon. But for now we have to go somewhere else to get coffee so we go to Arizona charlies for breakfast.
