The rooms in this hotel are very nice. I just expected more for a $500+ per night hotel. Plastic cups to drink from. No restaurant or bar to relax in. Walk across the carpark to get some ice. A 20 min check-in process. No assistance with luggage. Wi-Fi and TV were not working due to some outage….no offer of any compensation. The grounds of the hotel need quite a deal of maintenance. Overall I felt the hotel was completely overpriced, and did not represent value for money.

Good location with easy access to Village. Friendly check-in. We booked superior room through Expedia but were allocated a standard room, which was smaller and close to noisy trains. Disappointing. Also beds were not made while we were out all day (even though a sign in the bathroom said beds would be made daily).

The property is as described. We found the staff extremely helpful. We used the hot tub and steam room which were very pleasant and not crowded. The breakfast had a good selection of food and drink. We were very happy with our stay.

Lovely stay for a family with teenagers

Great room and hot tub and steam room was a good addition. Breakfast room was small but we managed to get seated and selection was good. Sofa bed was made up on arrival as requested. No restaurant on site but reception was very helpful pointing out options locally.

Fabulous Service

The staff were super helpful when we returned from a full parking lot at Lake Louise at 6:30am. Gave us the local bus info, new room keys and let us keep our vehicle parked at the hotel. The room was spacious and bathroom was beautiful. I thought I booked 2 queens but it was a king and we did not want to risk trading for another room. Note that you need to plan for a dinner out, the closest restaurant was lacking. Overall great experience!

This week I stayed in several motels in Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise area. This one is the best. Room is surprisingly modern, very bright and clean. Has mini-refrig, microwave, sink and safe. Great lightings. Nice bathroom. Staff was friendly. Plus free, good breakfast.

This lodge is close to Lake Louise and convenient to everything yet very quiet. It seems it has been fairly recently updated as the rooms have plenty of power outlets and extremely clean with newer furniture.

Great place to stay to explore Lake Louise. Recently renovated rooms and very spacious. Hot tub was a bonus! Only draw back was price however very limited selection so you’re going to pay a premium.

Guest's credit card information is compromised

Breakfast option is not good for vegetarian people. During 3 day stay same menu. I have used my wife's credit card for payment on this hotel and that information has been compromised for around $942/- . This hotel should investigate issue.

I write this review at 3:50am from the very room I paid for. This motel leaves MUCH to be desired for a summer stay in Banff National Park. The staff have been the highlight. The room, to put it politely, has been modestly updated. There is no climate control and only a broken fan was provided to cool the nearly 400sqft space. The beds are shockingly cheap, and the TV was reminiscent of that which you would buy for your pre-teen child as the first for their bedroom, if they were so lucky as to have one. The shower wall was caked with soap-scum, and the toilet paper roll was nearly empty on arrival. While trains can be neat, having one pass by at 4am, 100m from your room, isn't. The good, the bathroom is modern (despite no exhaust fan) and the tub is very deep, which makes for a nice soak, I imagine. The staff were pleasantly accommodating, especially so after accommodating my stay despite a booking failure on my end. Thw parking is ample and the proximity to both the lake and the ski hill are fantastic. That said, the bundling is old and tired. The "spa" area reminds me of a 70's ski commercial. All could have been forgiven except for two crutial failures. First, the property charged us $850 CAD for one night in a two bed motel room on the summer. Thus is WAY over priced. The second, a total lack of reduntant systems. The propery suffered a power outtage at 230am, and there is no back up generator to supply power to the property. You CANNOT charge this much for so littl
