Staff was great. Room 508 was subject to loud street noise, trash compactor operation, loud music and yelling from nearby lounge. Fire alarm at 2am Thursday kept guests up for several hours. Never notified that it was safe to go back to bed. Instead of a relaxing vacation I felt tired when it was all over.

We stayed here in January and I have to say the customer service we received was probably some of the best I have ever experienced, and I travel A LOT. We wanted to upgrade our room, and the staff were fantastic as finding us an option at ocean front, while giving us a rate that we could still afford. And the upgrade was WORTH IT, I highly suggest ocean front. While there we had our baht tub clog up, and they were good to make sure it got taken care of. Our flight home also got cancelled, and it was during the PGA tour so all the rooms were practically full but they worked their magic and found us a room for a night so we didn't have to shuffle hotels or find altnerate options. They were very considerate of our circumstances and gave us a few vouchers. The initial room was had had a walk in closet, 2 double beds and a pull out couch. It had all the ammenities you could want in a room. The pool area is busy, I don't love that Duke's is RIGHT behind you, it is very loud when you area already on the main beach that is busy. But we still loved having access to the beach and usually sat in the shade on the lower patio which was nice. The wait staff at the pool are great, and the nightly music at Dukes barefoot bar was so convenient to have on site. The mall is also right across the street, so it is very close to all things Waikiki. We also loved Maui Brewing happy hour across the street. There is also an ABC and stores downstairs for quick grab items. Highly recommend!

Noisy. I swear you FELT every rev of every loud piece of junk (there were a lot of them) on the main street below all night from seven floors up. On top of that, the late night Jimmy Buffet knock-offs sounding like they were set up on your balcony/lanai. It was honestly louder in the room than the patio below. My guess is bad acoustics between the Outrigger and adjacent tower. Even the fan on the AC was noisy. We would set the room cold early on, then turn it off for the night so it would be quiet.

Very nice hotel. Great restaurants (Hula Grill and Dukes) right on the property. Beach was clean and great for swimming. The cleaning staff were friendly and top notch. Highly recommend this place!

The room was huge and the bed was huge . The mattress wasn't very comfortable though. The view was amazing from our balcony. Great location for shopping and if course right on the beach !!! Definitely recommend a stay !

I paid for a queen bed partial ocean view. It turns out there are only 2 of these rooms per floor. One on each side of the elevator shafts and staircase. Both with very marginal views and noisy. I tried to move back to a city view but I had purchased the room from expedia so no refund. Had to pay an extra $35 a night to get a king bed partial ocean view. never going back.

I've stayed at the Outrigger several times. The staff is very friendly. At the guest services (front desk), Ligaya helps with accommodations and is very attentive. The waitresses at Duke's are very friendly. Especially Holly, who works in the pool area. I would like to thank the waitresses from Hula Grill: Lynn, Enah, and Brooke for their attentive service. Thanks also to the guys from the swimming pool: Oly, Piter and Benjamin. They were always cheerful and friendly. The house keeper was cleaned well and towels were changed daily. The hotel management was excellent. We felt like we were at home.

Very loud street noise normally until 1:00 AM Carpet in room was quite worn Staff great I could not afford the breakfast buffet at Duke's I LOVE Dukes!!! Could have gone up to Hula Grill Air conditioning worked fine Very loud street noise normally until 1:00 AM So easy to get to the beach
