We had a fantastic stay at the Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head. The front desk staff was outstanding—warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful both during check-in and throughout our visit. They gave us excellent recommendations for delicious local meals and great spots to explore nearby. The hotel’s location is ideal—just steps from a beautiful beach. We loved that the hotel provided beach chairs and towels, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the ocean. We enjoyed our stay so much that we tried to extend it, but the hotel was fully booked, so we’ll just have to come back next time. Looking forward to our next visit!

After being out to sea for over a year I always look forward to getting a hotel room to rewind and finally lay in a bed. But the first issue wrong was that the toilet was not flushing and nor did I receive the complimentary beverages that the front desk clerk had offered at the beginning of the stay. Later on, as I am talking to someone in a regular tone voice I get a call saying it is too loud. Which o understand the walls are extremely thin but I didn’t see a problem talking to family after all it’s been so long to talk to them. So after the complaint I continue to talk to my family in a lighter tone of voice but apparently that was not good enough and I received another call with the person over the phone saying if we get one more complaint the police will show up to my door. The person also suggested to take us to another floor where it was considered a living room with some games. But I was so confused because after paying so much money for a room I thought I’d be able to have my own privacy and space I was barely in my room and did not get to enjoy that peaceful time to myself at all. After arriving in the living room the front desk agent had suggested to not go back in the room until after sunrise…. I was thinking to myself am I even going to be able to sleep in the room I payed for? I feel like it was a wasted of money unfortunate I thought my experience in Hawaii would have gone better. Probably would’ve saved money going to a different hotel but I saw good reviews.

We had an amazing stay at the Lotus hotel! My husband and our two adult children stayed in the penthouse suite. The suite was spacious and beautifully decorated. The wrap-around balcony allowed us to enjoy the breathtaking views from all sides of the suite. The Diamond Head view from the master suite was EVERYTHING!!! The only downside was that their elevator doesn’t go all the way up to the penthouse. You have to get off on the 12th floor and walk up. My husband has mobility issues so the 10 or so stairs were very challenging for him and there was also no ramp to roll his scooter up. Aside from that, I highly recommend The Lotus at Diamond Head in Honolulu!!!😍

This was such a beautiful hotel! The room was incredible with the best Illy Espresso machine in the room. The bathrobe was so comfortable I bought one to take home. The restaurant located at the hotel was fabulous. I would definitely recommend eating there (The Alden). The best thing about the hotel is the location. It is in Diamond Head, which is off Waikiki, so you still are close enough to the shopping and fun things on the strip, but you aren't dealing with all of the noise and people. Access to beach is feet away.

Spotless room. All the decorations in the furnishings were top notch! Loved the in-room espresso maker, microwave, refrigerator. The hotel staff is just amazing in your professionalism helpfulness and courteousness. Not crazy about the TV setup in the room it was pretty old school in technology and channel selection. No Netflix or other streaming services available. No USB port on the television. Everything else about the hotel in the room was perfect though.

We live on O`ahu on the west side, and sometimes events/activities in town run late; the Lotus has become the go-to place for crashing in Honolulu when we also want to swim at Kaimana Beach first thing in the morning, or eat at Arden, or walk Kapiolani Park, and generally avoid the craziness of inner Waikiki. Easy place to return too. Aloha no!
