I think you should consider shuttles from HNL airport. It should be 24 hours. With plane delays, a traveler could arrive after midnight and the airport is “closed”providing no assistance to very tired travelers. As first time travelers to Hawaii, we had no idea a shuttle wasn’t offered and had no idea how to get to the hotel. So also a first time traveler information pamphlet sent when booking, would have been helpful. This could include places to eat, things to know, things to bring and things available in your hotel. I used the QR code in the room I booked and was excited about the daily activities provided such as crafts. I went downstairs to find the room and was told (after I asked), that was not at this outrigger. There are apparently several and we weren’t told if we could go do the activities at the different locations. Also, didn’t know outrigger provided an umbrella. We asked on a rainy day after seeing someone with one. I feel like the traveler shouldn’t have to ask about common things. If the clerks are too busy to tell each person all the amazing things they provide at the outrigger, a paper should be on the desk. For as beautiful as your hotel is, the rooms where the ice machines are located were not even painted, they were hot and only one person allowed in at a time with no table to set my cups on (I was in charge of 3 travelers’cups in my family) really limited me. The staff was friendly at checking and check out. Not really any complaints just suggestions.

The hotel was excellent. Right in the heart of waikiki dining and shopping. A 4 minute walk to the water to swim. The partial ocean view was plenty for us. The room itself was very clean as well as rhe lobby area. Only the hallways could use some revamping.

OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel is in an excellent location. This allowed us to walk to many parts of Waikiki with relative ease. We really liked this. The front desk staff (e.g., Cyrus) and the room cleaning staff (Zhi Yi) were extremely helpful and friendly. This made us feel very welcome. Cirque Du Soleil has been running a Hawaiian themed show "AUANA" at a theater colocated with the hotel. We watched the show and really loved it.

No beach view at all. Swimming pool extemely small but tourists come for waikiki beach. Resort fee is 100% rip off but Honolulu is still in high demand so hotels can charge whatever they want.

The room was spotless and nicely stocked with everything we needed — plenty of towels, toiletries, coffee, and tea. What we loved the most was the wonderful staff — everyone was so friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. The only small downside is that the beach and ocean view are a bit obstructed since the hotel is on the second line, but overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location, early check in option (with a $100 charge despite being a Gold Member) and lovely room. Only issue was WiFi (couldn’t connect at all) then trying to contact Front Desk to resolve. Staff were friendly and it was a great stay.
