We could not have been more pleased with our choice of hotel! The Wayfinder Waikiki is amazing. The property is gorgeous and well-kept, especially the pool area. We were welcomed by a fantastic valet, who insisted on carrying all of our luggage up the 3 flights of stairs to our room. The aloha kept coming with tokens for free drinks at the pool bar and a pile of complimentary snacks in our room, including wine, juices, bottled water, popcorn and chocolate. We were in a room with 2 Queen beds in the Pool House, which was very spacious for our two teenagers and ourselves. There is no elevator in the Pool House, so just be aware that you’ll be using the outdoor stairs. The room was charmingly decorated, and even had a record player and selection of albums. My daughter loved this. The AC worked well, and the beds were comfy enough. The location is great. It’s tucked away near the canal in a quiet area, but still a less than 10 minute walk to the beach. There are also tons of restaurants and shops in easy walking distance, and don’t miss the hotel restaurant Redfish, which is quite good. We also loved that the front desk provides free beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, and GoPro cameras for guest use! We definitely took advantage of those. Thank you SO much to the staff for a wonderful stay. We will be back!

Thank you for accommodating us on the 9th floor. We enjoyed our stay but not without a few disappointments. The biggest disappointment (not caused by the hotel) was the fact that HPD police & Fire / Ambulance sirens were extremely loud and went by the hotel frequently at all hours of the night and day. It seemed “non-stop” and VERY inconvenient for getting a good nights rest. My other disappointment this past visit was that the valet parking price of $50 a day is way, way too expensive. A parking citation received on the public streets was only $35. Not recommending the parking citation, just using the price as an example. Happy to see that Waikiki city’s homelessness issues are less visible on the beach walkways & side streets. As always, even with the disappointments, the Wayfinder Hotel was affordable, safe and comfortable. Front desk staff was absolutely amazing and very welcoming. Because of our late arrival, I thought their professionalism of getting me to my room expeditiously was greatly appreciated as well. Best,

Exterior building looks tired, but everything are well maintained!Air filters replacement project done by a maintenance team “Sunday”, bathroom tub drained perfectly, room was cleaned, pool area spotless, very nice welcome drinks and check in was fast and efficient by Kay! Very thanks for a nice day till my house floor Ed. Replaced! High recommend!

Loved the pool, hotel staff, and location. However I had company stay with me Wednesday-Saturday and the valet excessively damaged her rental car. It added a layer of stress to our trip and was initially handled pretty badly. We ultimately filed a police report to avoid insurance repercussions. Head of security also told me how hungover he was for no reason prior to realizing I was in the room with the damaged car. Management assured us they were handling it, but it was generally unprofessional.

It was a decent hotel. It served it's purpose. Unfortunately the air conditioning was not working and the room we were in the windows didn't open. So they were able to move us to another room with sliding door so we could breathe. When checking in we were told we were paying a certain amount for parking and fees. Then we checked out it and the fees didn't match what they promised. Having to ask for what we were promised was little shame for me. And the front desk girl got sassy after i told her about it. Should've got names cause some of the staff were amazing and others need a new job. Pool was nice !

The rooms were nice & clean. The emanates were superb. Valet parking was a little difficult especially when leaving.
