The entertainment was like no other resort I’ve been to. They are so nice and involved with the guest. There is always a game going on like volleyball, water polo, bingo, and more. There is also something for young kids to do too like face painting and treasure hunts. Very safe and friendly staff. You know everyone’s name by the end. The beaches were beautiful and clear. You can snorkeling and scuba diving at no extra cost! So many people we talked to had been to the resort multiple time. We will definitely be back.

Standard rooms and food. Quiet and away from Cozumel , so not so touristy. It is a family resort so lots for the kids to do.

Pros: grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The same goes for the pool and beach. Activities at the pool & beach were fun. The shows in evening was nice too. Kid friendly resort. Cons: the food options were extremely limited. The food ran out regularly and either wasnt replenished or not replenished fast enough e.g. no syrup for pancakes; ran out of French toast and not replaced as far as my understanding. Also have to wait in line at times to enter buffet. Food was below average. We ended up taking cabs to the center of town for dinner. Defeats the purpose of staying at an all inclusive resort. The staff and waiters will pass right by you if you’re a person of color. It happened several times throughout my stay. They tried to charge me extra fees at checkout. I was very disappointed with the service and will not be returning.

It is an older property, but it is well maintained. I am happy to return to this resort year after year. The food is always good and the variety is plenty. The rooms are comfortable, and housekeeping does a fine job in keeping it tidy each day for you. I mainly come here each year to scuba dive because I believe it has one of the best scuba operation on the island. The dive shop is on the property, the boat picks up at the resort's dock. You don't ever have to leave the resort. The staff has always been friendly and will assist you with your needs.

My only complaint is the night time show. It’s so very loud. If you go to bed early and have an upper room, you will not be able to sleep! The show should start and end before 9 pm.

GREAT VALUE for my stay at this property. I've stayed at a Barcelo property in Puerto Vallarta which was nicer. Come for the beach & convenient (but not great) food & beverages. There were always basic tacos & fresh fruit & vegetables available. Drinks had an odd chemical aftertaste. Front desk girls are amazing & very friendly. The bartenders are just there to do their job. Wait staff was great. Entertainment needs improvement & DJ needs to cut back on his "ooooua ooooua" calls to the crowd lol

We really enjoyed our stay at Allegro Cozumel. The place was beautiful, and that staff was pleasant and kind. We especially liked the entertainment staff - JD, Arbey, and Millie. So FUN! The swim up bartenders, one in particular (we never got his name...) were so fun and kind too. And we enjoyed our dinner at the oriental restaurant - so DELCIOUS! It was a great getaway. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves, and we've discussed going back in a few years and bringing our three kids along. Thanks for a great time, Allegro!
