Allegro was genuinely one of the most amazing experiences of our lives; the resort staff are so friendly and accommodating, the food is pretty decent (the tacos are amazing!!!) and the drinks are great! The pools are super nice and the rooms were pretty great too :) Arbey and Diego though were the best, super entertaining people and some of the kindest we met there! The late night shows are absolutely worth seeing, especially the Acrobatics show and Latin night! Carlos, our server most nights, made us a special going away dessert table side to celebrate our last night of our honeymoon and it was so heart warming (and delicious) If you’re looking for a good snorkelling experience outside the resort Chankanaab park is literally only 10 minutes away and the best snorkelling I’ve ever done (even got to see a sea turtle!), and the ATV ride excursion you book through the resort is worth every penny and more in our opinion. I highly recommend renting a car from the resort and exploring town for at least one day as well, if you’re a little deeper in town the souvenirs are nice and well priced. ALSO; watch the sunset on the beach at the resort if you can. It is actually magical

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was always very cool, clean, and fully stocked. All the workers on the property were friendly and inviting. The ocean was perfect with plenty of open spots to lounge at the beach or pool. The office set us up with excursions that picked us right at their private pier or on the property! Snorkeling from the property was awesome! Saw tiny to very large fish and some string rays! Felt very safe among the sea life and my kids loved playing in the calm waters! Sunsets were amazing! This spot is kid friendly with adult activities, meeting anyone’s definition of a relaxing time! Loved our stay!

Our family had an unforgettable vacation at Allegro Cozumel! From the beautiful property to the incredible staff, every detail exceeded our expectations. The beach was breathtaking, with soft, powdery sand and crystal-clear water. There was no shortage of activities to enjoy, from swimming and snorkeling to kayaking and games. The entertainment was truly outstanding, led by an energetic and engaging team. A special shoutout to Diego (our personal favorite) whose charisma, energy, and friendliness made our experience even more fun and memorable! The food and drink options were plentiful and delicious, with excellent service at every bar and restaurant. Check-in was seamless, and the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. We absolutely loved our time at Allegro Cozumel and can't wait to return!

I never leave a review but this time I have to. I would not recommend this resort it was the worst one I have ever been to. Customer service was terrible!! Only one restaurant open and had to stand in line for 45 minutes to make a reservation and had to wait couldn’t get a reservation for 3 days.

If you like eating warm bland beef stew on a day that’s hotter than the devils ***hole, you will love allegro. Food & bar beverages were extremely underwhelming at this resort, make sure to be next to a bathroom if you have the buffet. The food inspectors came on one of the days we were there & it heavily reflected in the limited options available at the buffet, resembling a sort of recession public school lunch but somehow even worse than that. Reservations for the restaurants were hard to get, but it was much better than the everyday stuff offered. Depending on what room you stay in, air conditioning is a LUXURY here, which is insane considering the weather was around 95* every day. Want to get comfortable here? Spend some time in the ocean then. In my opinion, staying at this resort was like being on the show “survivor” - ESPECIALLY if you have any food/allergy restrictions. Concerns listed above were brought to the attention of several staff members & the manager on duty, but no one seemed to care as nothing changed the entire week we stayed here. Our group booked through expedia & within the first couple days, we tried to move resorts but sadly, a refund for the remaining time was not given as an option to us. BUYER BEWARE. Allegro? More like Alleg-NO. Spend a little extra money & go somewhere else if you want it to feel like a vacation.
