Needs some work

This hotel needs some work - the elevators were either broken or on the verge of same, the room was dirty, the air conditioning didn't work properly, and like most hotel chains now, they were short staffed - this is not their fault - it's clearly so the higher-ups at the corporation don't have to lower their generous compensations while everyone else suffers during these challenging economic times. Definitely needs some work!

Buyer beware

The pool is ice cold. Breakfast is not free, so don't make the same mistake that we made. The room did not have shampoo or even hand soap. There was a dirty washcloth stuffed into the cubby next to the toilet. Hotel is very dated. Barely any support from the front desk. The shower was hot and the bed was comfortable. That's about it.

Older property. Understaffed. Front desk took 20 minutes to check in 2 people. Keys didn’t work. 3 separate room of people were standing in the hallway trying to access rooms but no ones keyed worked. Bartender was good. Random stains and such around property and in rooms. Several in party commented that it felt like the property was moving. You welt swaying while standing still like in a cruise ship. 2 of 3 elevators were out of service. People had to use a microwave in the lobby as there were none in the rooms.

Shuttle service was great since we got in so late. Front desk was friendly. Breakfast and service personnel were great. Only 1 elevator was working. Rooms need some updating. We had only gel soap. No regular soap for hands and no hair conditioner.

This hotel is in need of some love and care. It needs a refurbishment and money spent on it. The staff are nice, especially in the restaurant and bar, but we had issues at check in (we were sent to a room that had not been cleaned then had to get our keys to the next one re-set three times) and the elevators mostly are out of order, also we had coffee pods in our room but no machine. Overall, we were disappointed in this from a Crown Plaza, which is usually a reliable chain.

Room was fine, but two of the three elevators were out of service. Would have been fine, but I felt ill after eating at the hotel restaurant. Probably should have taken the hint that the hotel was fully booked but the restaurant was nearly empty.

Ebony and her husband who work the front desk is absolutely rude. When we came in on Friday the pool wasn’t available but it literally says pool access. So Saturday I went downstairs and ask front desk was it open, the very kind staff told us that it hasn’t work since she worked there (which later we found out she’s been there for three weeks). She later called me said it was fixed and will open at 6pm. Took our kids down there at 6pm and was told another hour. Went down there at 7pm and the water was freezing. I called down there and Ebony said it’s open what do you me to do. I said maybe we should be accosted because we been here since yesterday with no pool and now it’s cold and the main reason we booked was to swim. She started saying she couldn’t do nothing about it so I informed her I would reach out to corporate. In the mist of this we are walking up the stairs because only one elevator works so it takes 10minutes to get in it, we come in contact with her husband who is the transport person. And he states, “be careful it’s a sex offender running around the hotel showing himself to everyone!” Remind you it’s a basketball tournament going on with ALOT of kids I mean thousands of kids who are staying at these surrounding hotels. The overall experience was absolutely horrible and I’m not one to usually complain but to be treated so terribly is crazy.

Crowded and understaffed airport hotel

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay before an early flight. Check in took about an hour with only 1 person at the front desk trying to check in 100 angry people waiting in line. Her attitude was great, though so kudos to her. 2 of the 3 elevators were out of service, so had to climb up two stories with luggage. The room was below average size, and beds were uncomfortable. It is a popular one I guess because you can park and fly there. If you don't have such intentions, avoid.
