The building and room were great. Staff could have been a little more friendly. Parking/valet wasn’t great. They should have at least four valets two to park and two to meet guests and move cars. Waited in line for about twenty minutes. The workers did the best they cld well those who were working and not the girl on her phone the entire time.

We had a perfect romantic weekend getaway planned at a beautiful hotel (Drury Cleveland Downtown) that we were familiar with because of previous stays. That was ruined because our room was directly behind the loud elevator and all we could hear our entire stay was the loud thumping, clunking, & banging from the elevator!! I did complain and we were refunded one of our nights.... but then things got personal and way worse when today I found out I have item stolen from my car that we trusted to Drury's Valet Service!!!! Disgusting & Unforgivable. I understand that no matter how hard a business might try to hire trustworthy & honest people that no matter what stuff like this is inevitably still going to happen, and thats unfortunate and we were the unfortunate customers. I cant begin to explain my disgust I am feeling and am at a loss for words really so I am going to stop here with this warning... If you stay at the Downtown Cleveland Drury, make sure you take their disclaimer about using their Valet service serious, it says they are not responsible if anything comes up missing from your vehicle and some of their Valet Employees mean to enforce that by stealing!

What a beautiful, old hotel - marble floors in the entrance and hallways, and the rooms are spacious. Staff is friendly and check-in was very smooth. Only complaint is that front entrance drive is a one-way lane for valet parking only. There’s no legal place to leave your car on the street if you want to drop off your luggage and self park in the underground garage (behind hotel and very convenient).

Clean and friendly staff. The walls are thin and you can hear too much nice at all hours, there are no comforters on bed just a very thin blanket and short . It was very cold and would have bee more comfortable with an actual comforter or something warmer. The buffets are not gluten friendly at all, and would prefer to be able to actually eat breakfast and have fruit options, like maybe an apple.

As a hotel worker myself, this place never fails to go up and beyond with its service! From valet being friendly as soon as you walk up, the front desk staff being helpful & kind, and the staff in general — everyone was so courteous! I’ve stayed here before but this time was magical. A little mini staycation that surely felt like it was worth the stay. The food was excellent ( both from the Teachers Lounge and the kick start/breakfast ), the room itself was gorgeous, I can’t describe enough how much I love this hotel! Family friendly, welcoming, and overall good.

Such a great hotel! Not only did they feed you for breakfast but they feed you for dinner too. The food was probably the best hotel food I've ever eaten. The staff was amazing and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
