Amazing Experience

Loved our stay at CitizenM. Booking was simple. Checking in was fast through the app. The hotel itself was so fun. Loved the decor and vibes. The room was extremely clean. I loved using the tablet to control the room. The bed was so comfortable. I liked that we had access to the fitness area. Loved that we were walking distance to a lot. Definitely looking forward to staying here again.

One of the worst experiences I’ve had in Chicago. The tube to the shower head came off multiple times while showering, hitting me and when I called the front desk to make them aware of the situation all the guy I spoke to said was “ok” and then complete silence for two minutes while I was waiting for him to see how it can be fixed or if we move rooms and then he says “did you want me to send somebody up to fix it” obviously!!!! Then someone comes in to fix it he steps in the shower with his shoes and outside leaving grime and mud tracks inside our room and shower. The bathroom is so small you can barely move inside it. There’s no way to just turn on a light in the bathroom without turning on lights for the entire rooms there is no where to put anything down. The water is inevitable to spill out of the shower because of the horrible design. The refrigerator doesn’t even work!!! I called the front desk and they said “it only keeps things at a certain temperature” whatever that means idk they could not specify for some reason. The microwave available to use was absolutely disgusting it made me almost vomit on site. The staff does not actually give one f -about the customers. I requested additional towels and they just left them outside the room in a plastic bag, never knocked or anything - I was waiting to leave for plans until I finally just decided to leave and as I stepped out the towels were in a plastic bag. The room setup is so small and I hate the iPad.

Unique affordable luxury experience

Very clean room with such fun features. We loved the curtains/blinds controls, the colors, and especially the shower!!! Would have preferred an additional sheet below the duvet cover. Also, shelves are ok but what about drawers?? Door to bathroom slammed really hard and loud. Everything else was awesome especially the breakfast!!!

Jake, Jack, Alan and Mike were AWESOME! The room was beautiful. Everything was clean. The whole experience at that hotel is definitely worth coming back and staying again and I highly would recommend it to anyone. The hotel is beautiful, and the decorations are outstanding.
