The sheets had stains and the bed itself sagged immensely. The AC had no movement, and when it did finally kick on, it was so loud. The facility had a washer and dryer available, but the dryer needed to be run twice to get everything dry. The hot tub was very nice and spacious. The room included a boot dryer, which was super helpful

This place is great if you want to see the sites at Lake Louise, as you can walk over to the few shops and restaurants around and take your bus up to see the lakes. At first they put us in a tiny closet room next to the laundry and vending but after complaining about that room, another guy was super nice and redirected us to a room more worthy of the high price. Our upstairs neighbors sounded like a herd of elephants but I think that was just unlucky. The hot tub was a highlight, super clean and relaxing after hiking or skiing. Overall, great location and nice rooms.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountaineer Lodge! This was my second visit and I was happy to return. The bed was very comfortable and there are numerous thoughtful features throughout - good bathroom lighting, boot dryer, kitchenette, etc. We also loved the steam room and spa.

Only rooms in the main lodge have AC with a $40/night extra charge. This information should be listed and highlighted CLEARLY on the website. When you pay $400+ per night for a room, AC is expected. Also, they ran out of food both mornings at breakfast. Had to wait 10-15 minutes for eggs, bacon and hash browns to be replenished. High end room rate with low end service and amenities.

Excellent stay here, walking distance to the town and close to the lakes. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again. Rooms were cozy, clean, and warm.

Very good location near bus stop to Lake Louise which cost $2. We also took a tour to Lake Moraine and the pickup was very close to the hotel. We arrived to the hotel early to go on the tours and we were allowed to park in the guest parking area. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was very good. Hotel offers guest laundry if needed.

In a good location with shopping and dining nearby. The rooms do not have air conditioning. They do provide a fan. The rooms are clean and have been updated. Nice soaker tub in the bathrooms. However, we were in the rooms that you park in front of. So not much distance between your room and where cars are parking. It was fairly quiet and the included breakfast is a nice perk to staying here.

The rooms in this hotel are very nice. I just expected more for a $500+ per night hotel. Plastic cups to drink from. No restaurant or bar to relax in. Walk across the carpark to get some ice. A 20 min check-in process. No assistance with luggage. Wi-Fi and TV were not working due to some outage….no offer of any compensation. The grounds of the hotel need quite a deal of maintenance. Overall I felt the hotel was completely overpriced, and did not represent value for money.
