The resort needs renovating. The pictures are what it used to look like. The water is warm never got hot and does not get hot is what I was told. The waiters were great the chefs need to be fired. The food 0/10 was not good at all. The restaurants were closed every day you could only eat buffet or hamburgers, hotdogs, or pizza till dinner. There was a 2 hour wait for all the restaurants only to have subpar food. It was a struggle every day trying to find something edible. Would not recommend not a good experience at all. I stayed Feb. 15-19 2026

Staff was great, place is slightly dated, our room had some broken features, but they fixed it when we called- the restaurants were INCREDIBLE! Definitely a good place to go with kids- I went with my boyfriend in our 20s, not much to do as place shuts down at 11pm. The beach was beautiful, and we overall had a good long weekend!!

There is no included airport shuttle as promised, they charged me $75 USD upon check out for 3 room service meals, not the $10 USD stated per meal, this is not all inclusive. Between the Ubers to and from the hotel & the excessive room service charges, for bottles of water, etc, I could have bought a better hotel for the same cost. I will not return.

13 of us went to the Seadust to celebrate 3 birthdays and had a great time! The staff was super kind and helpful. My granddaughter was turning 5 and having a K-pop Demon Hunters birthday and the chef there made her a Rumi decorated birthday cake that was just over the top gorgeous! And on 24hrs notice! Everyone was super nice and went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. We will definitely be going back!

If you’re looking for a calm, relaxing, laid-back vacation, the Seadust is NOT for you! We were very disappointed by our stay at the Seadust Family Resort in Cancun. To help you avoid the same issues we faced, let me tell you about some of the issues we encountered. The good: • Very friendly, helpful staff • Tasty drinks • Beautiful views • Delicious fresh fruits The bad (get comfortable): • The Room We stayed in a double Ocean Front Suite, which had amazing views and a beautiful spacious balcony, but unfortunately the room was falling apart. The biggest problem was the constant blaring music from 8:30am until past 10:00 pm each day (partially from the hotel next door). The music was so loud in fact that we could not hear each other speak on the balcony, let alone relax and enjoy the day. It was a waste to pay for a balcony room for this very reason. The volume of the music even made it difficult to have a conversation inside the room with the balcony doors shut. It was a near-constant drain on our vacation and guaranteed we would never stay at Seadust again. In addition to the lack of any peace and quiet, we experienced several issues with our room including a horrifying screech whenever the toilet light was turned on (we were informed it would go away “eventually”, we opted to leave the light off), the door handle falling off the balcony door, the bathroom flooding while we were away from the room, the ironing board being broken and unusable, receiving inconsistent towels e

Refrigerator in room didn’t work. Shower water was lukewarm. Waits for dinner were hours long. Long lines for drinks. No where to get small bills on site or exchange money. Pool/beach area closes early.

Improvements on organization with restaurant reservations. A first, second and third seating should be implemented. Rooms were clean but worn out. The staff did not have good communication skills. English bilingual was a problem, buffet was not appetizing! Towels were old. Beach was beautiful! Not enough beach and pool chairs to accommodate guest!
