The room look nothing like the picture. Some of the outlets in the room. The water in the shower had a strong bad smell. The furniture in the room was out dated and falling apart. The best part of the room was the view it’s breathtaking. The pools was amazing and the property was beautiful and it’s near a lot of places.

We just got back and I would say I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. I have been to Cancun, Riviera Maya and Playa Del Carmen and this is the worst place we have stayed. It wasn't horrible but there were definitely things they should improve on. I'll start with location. I do like the location. It was easy to get to on a shuttle from the airport and it is SO close to walking to downtown Cancun. Located pretty much in front of the hotel is a pharmacy, which came in handy later. We walked downtown and had dinner one night (since we couldn't get a reservation- I'll note this later) and had a great dinner. It has a nice chunk of beach front with some tables and seating. Check in took FOREVER. That was the longest check in I have had at any resort. Also we are typically greeted with a welcome cocktail. They gave us a glass of gross juice that most people abandoned all over counters cluttering the look of the lobby. We noticed they had a lobby bar, however we couldn't get a drink until we checked in. Once we got to the counter and checked in we were bombarded by a woman who said she was our personal concierge and wanted to sell us massages. I tried to make dinner reservations for the specialty restaurants with her and she said she couldn't help me with that and took me to another counter where they also said they couldn't help me and referred me to the app. The app however was in Spanish and was difficult to get it to English. I have more but it limits my review space

The location it's amazing. You can walk to the party zone and is super close to Coco-Bongo Beach Party and Coco-Bongo Disco/Show. I recommend this resort.

Property was clean and conveniently located a block from Senior Frog’s ( for location reference). If the property had more restaurants than stated we were not able to locate them. First night a buffet was provided outside along with entertainment. The food was excellent. To put in context we arrived around 4:30 on a Friday evening and left around 10:30 Monday morning. Upon arrival the lobby host greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. About 20 minutes in she wss pressuring us for the “presentation”. We all knew what the “presentation” is about!!! We went ahead and agreed to listen to it the next morning to score some entertainment tickets to try and stay in budget. So yes listening to the sales pitch was on us! By Saturday night we felt like we were being treated differently. No greeting no smiles. We began to observe staff was being observed and reprimanded unnecessarily by management. It was disheartening to see this behavior. Maybe that’s the norm in Cancun? This was our first trip to Cancun and we were comparing it to hospitality in Puerto Vallarta and Cabo. We encountered many guest who felt the same and were having the same vibe as us. The entertainment went on well into the middle of the night. Loud! We also learned that Cancun has an alcohol law that only allows serving alcohol of any kind between the hours of 11 am and 11 pm. By 10:45 am guest were lined up waiting to be served. This pushed the plans and relaxation back time wise.

Positive: Staff is very friendly. The beach is absolutely beautiful, they rake the beach with tractors everyday. Food was decent, I have no complaints there. Had a beautiful ocean view from our balcony. Negative: Our room was in the older building, we had no hot water and house keeping rarely came to that part. There is a nightclub right next door and this part of the hotel was extremely loud music outside. (especially on Thursday night) Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would go back. We traveled with our toddler and felt very safe here. There were quite a few other kids at the hotel as well.

Good experience at this hotel. Food was way better than expected, very good and the dinner restaurants were amazing. The best part of the hotel is the beach, it is absolutely amazing. Crystal clear blue waters and white sand. Very calm too, so you can just hangout and float. Only complaint I have is the swim up bar isn’t overly amazing but that’s not a big deal. Overall great experience at this resort, no reason to not stay here. We had a good week!
