Hotel Bobampak is a great hotel. The staff are friendly and the property is well maintained. It is well located and priced right. It has easy access to restaurants. The pool is very nice. I have been there several times. The only criticism that I have is that the rooms do not have a refrigerator. Otherwise, this is a nice place.

LIARS, THIEVES and RUDE

I travel a lot to countries all over the world. This was in my top 2 of the WORST places I have stayed in overall experience. I'll keep this short. I paid for 3 nights through Hotels.com. Upon arrival, I noticed numerous employees lingering in the lobby. Although the building has 80 rooms, the gave me a room above the lobby area. They proceeded to sporadically do very loud maintenance/construction, in between just standing around, then bang on walls and pipes for 20 min.. repeat for 2 days... I asked why they did not disclose this LOUD maintenance issue. I informed them, it was just far too much noise and an extremely uncomfortable establishment. They offered to reimburse me for my 3rd night, so, I paid for other accommodations and vacated. They then refused to credit my account. It's all in writing thru Whatsapp. There is much more to add, but I know long reviews get skipped over. Please heed my warnings about this place and do not give them your money, business or your precious time. Hotels.com spoke with them also and Hotel Bonampak refused to issue the refund. In addition, it is it is overpriced for comparables in the downtown area. I failed to do enough research. I hope this helps others. Cancun is beautiful. This place and these people are horrible.

It's an appropriate hotel if you you're looking for visiting some places in Cancun and dinning out. Not for all inclusive hotel desire. Location is perfect. Around you cam find some good restaurants, Plaza America Mall. Oxxo downstairs. Actually we had a great time in Cancun. Cons: Basic Breakfast could be better. Sugest fruits, fresh bread and pastries. Second Stay — Still a Great Value

Hotel Bonampak is a solid choice for travelers looking for a clean, comfortable, and no-frills stay in Cancun. This was my second time staying here, and it didn’t disappoint. The rooms are simple but nicely maintained, with comfortable beds and just enough amenities to make your stay pleasant. The open-air lobby and pool area are the real highlights — spacious, relaxing, and give the hotel a breezy, tropical feel that’s hard to find at this price point. The free breakfast is very basic (think cereal, pastries, juice, and coffee), but it’s enough to get your day started. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. Location is another plus. There are several good restaurants within walking distance, and an Oxxo, café, and pharmacy are right next door for anything you need. If you’re looking for affordable comfort without the resort glitz, Hotel Bonampak is a great option. I’d definitely stay here again.
