Brisbane Rocklea Station accommodation from AU$140

We love staying at the Star Grand Brisbane. However this time at the restaurant at the Sky Deck they had an Oyster and Domaine Chandon Happy Hour from 4 - 6. We went up and ask for the promotion which was $3 Oysters and a glass of Chandon for $12. We were told by the young girl there that they had run out of oysters. I said ok I will just have a glass of Chandon for $12. She politely told me I could not have the Chandon for $12 because I wasn't having the oysters. To which I replied but you don't have any oysters. She said sorry but she couldn't do anything. Very poor for such a great hotel. We will be back but I would expect that if the Star Grand offer a happy hour promotion for 2 hours next time when we get there at 5 (half way through the Happy Hour) we can still get the promotion..

Great location and stay

Such a wonderful experience for a short get away. Wish we stayed longer to experience all it had to offer. From the friendly, helpful, genuine staff, it was such a pleasant stay that we'll remember.
