Blake from Belagio is awesome.

When we checked in late at night we were given a double and amoking level. While Blake from the from desk was amazing the rest of the Front desk staff was not helpful. Blake made the stay much more congrats by giving us a non smoking floor and suite to help or with the inconvenience from the night before.

This was my first time actually staying at the hotel. I must say the room was very underwhelming. I was promised a large room with a tub and got a handicapped room with one sink. I was too tired to move. The view was of the parking garage roof, the outside noise was frustrating, and the make up mirror was waist height. The sea of tourists was understandabke but it took away from the elegance of the common areas. The saving grace is the selection of fine restaurants and attractive bars, and an all over beautiful building.

Really disappointed this time. Stayed years ago and hotel now has stripped away amenities. Not a 5 star experience. No coffee machine in room, no kettle (50 bucks if I wanted to hire one!), no complimentary water, no bathroom kits, 40 minute wait downstairs every morning to get coffee from their store. Hotel constantly felt like you were in an airport. Queues for everything -20 minutes to check in or out. When we arrived we were told our room wasn’t ready- it was 6pm! Then when we asked for a late check out, we told only until 12. Cheeky as we couldn’t access our room till 6pm on our arrival day. If you want a 5 star experience , don’t bother. All the little touches that make 5 star are gone. The building is grand and the pool lovely but staying as a guest was not a nice experience.

The dining options at night were amazing, but limited during the day. It was the pool cafe, or take away. Sadelles looked great but was completely booked the entire time we were there and the walk in line was around the conservatory. That said the hotel is beautiful and we had a really nice stay.
