Some staff was courteous. Desk staff was ok but not helpful when mistakes were made on their end. Room needs some repairs, specially in the bathrooms.. (paper wall falling) One of the rooms need attention with the electrical outlets. Issue was reported, never fixed.

From the outside the hotels looks good. However, the beds were very uncomfortable and noisy. Also, the hotel is located near the freeway and you can hear just about everything. I only stayed one night but I would not go back.

I appreciate the late accommodations but I will not be back to this location. Placed right next to the elevators and was very noisy. I also got charged for parking for the first time ever. Wouldn’t recommend this place to friends or family.

I did not have a great experience here. I stayed for four nights while vacationing at Disneyland. I had my child with me who still uses diapers. She wet the bed twice during our stay and the first time someone came to change our sheets and bring up fresh towels fairly promptly. That was the only time we had any help from the cleaning staff during the entire length of our stay. Although I called everyday for them to bring up fresh towels and pick up our trash, no one ever came back. By the time we would get back from the park, the cleaning staff was gone and the front desk said there was nothing they could do. My daughter wet the bed again on the 3rd night and I called and asked them to change the sheets and pick up our trash with her dirty diapers. No one ever came and my daughter was forced to sleep on top of her own urine. I placed a towel over the wet spot but this was still unacceptable.Would never stay here again. Lack of cleanliness was disgusting.

We booked the hotel weeks a week in advance, the day of I called and they said we were good to go. I checked in and they gave me the key and said I was good to go. I stepped out the lobby and later back in and they said, “Oh I forgot to tell you, you do not have the room you booked, we were overbooked.” They were not able to make any accommodations whatsoever except waive my parking fee and my friend had to sleep on a seat. The hotel itself is fine and honestly the staff were kind it’s just, according to staff, the hotel is always overbooked. Please go to a different hotel or at least verify you will have the room you requested.

I stayed at the Sonesta Anaheim Resort Area (room 209) for a Disneyland weekend on November 22–23, 2025. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The king room was spacious and comfortable, though the layout felt a bit awkward. I appreciated the in-room amenities—the mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave were super convenient. The room was clean overall, though I did notice a bit of mold around the grout lines in the shower. An exhaust fan in the bathroom would definitely help with ventilation. I didn’t try the restaurant downstairs or the paid breakfast option, so I can’t speak to the food. However, the staff was friendly and helpful, which made the stay feel welcoming. Another big plus is that ART transportation stops right outside the main entrance, making it incredibly easy to get to Disneyland. All in all, a solid stay with just a couple of minor issues. I’d definitely consider staying here again.
