The room was definitely not soundproof like the listing said, we could hear the highway cars and people woke us up in the mornings talking in the hallway. Close enough to walk to Disneyland and food places. Lots of towels which was good.

for the price there is better

the first room we were in was extremely outdated and felt gross. we had a few issues with broken things in our room and were moved to the new building. it was a big improvement and we could see fireworks from the deck..but still some frustrating things. there is only one elevator for the entire building - and it’s tiny so only one family at a time so lots of waiting. we were told on day 3 that our toddler couldn’t wear a life vest on the splash pad slide because it could scratch the slide which i’m still confused about how it would scratch and terrified that they are more concerned with that than safety the slide ends in like 11inches of water! especially because it’s literally meant to be the toddler area and there was 3 big kids running and jumping and going down the baby slides! at one point they all went down the baby slide together and it splashed into my sons slide and my husband was able to grab my baby by the life vest and saved him. for the price i’ve stayed at way better!

I want to live this hotel, but I keep going back to others over this. This location is great for my picky eating 4 year old. We walk right by McDonald’s which is perfect for her. The room was huge. We had an updated room. But it was in the back building which took us longer to get to our room. While updated, we had issues with drain flies, spiders, and a loud air conditioner in our room. The rooms aren’t very sound proof in general either. The first time I stayed at this hotel a couple years ago, we had one of the old rooms that wasn’t updated. Then air conditioner was loud then too. When I say loud, I mean wake up up in the night loud because of the clunking sounds. It seems like it’s the same air unit even on the updated rooms which is disappointing. Overall it’s a nice property. It’s not the worst, it’s just not my favorite. I’d stay again.

Our experience was fantastic from the very beginning, Samantha at the front desk was very informative during check in and gladly helped with any questions we had, we ended up extending an extra night as well and she helped us again get everything situated so there were no mix ups the morning of our original check out date. It was a very convenient and short walk to the Disney Parks which made it perfect for a mid day break/nap for our toddler. The water play area was very cool and a nice way to cool down the first day we arrived, multiple slides and small pool for the little ones with plenty of other water features to splash around in. Wpuld deffinitely reccomend for any families looking to get the most out of a multi day vacation to the Disneyland Parks! Only issues I had were with spotty wifi since my cellular data wasnt working too great while in our room, but aside from that the accomodations were comfortable and the room came with a mini fridge which we kept stocked regularly with drinks from the super convienient store on the first floor. Cant wait to bring the family back again.

Ladies on reception were very welcoming and more than happy to assist with any queries. Rooms and bathrooms very clean and tidy. 6th floor Balcony view of Waterpark great, mid mod store handy to have, location 6-8mins walk to Disneyland, easy flat walk.

I like the Howard Johnson it is old but still a goodie however there are some things I have to complain about. Upon check in there's no organized line and everyone seem to be jumbled up I ended up waiting and when I finally got to the front of the line the girl had to leave for a few minutes and make me wait. A manager stepped in but could not ring me in for some reason but just somebody to ask me a bunch of personal questions not something you want to do when you've been driving for a couple hours is make conversation. The room was clean I liked it. The walking distance is far to Disneyland .67 miles they do not have a shuttle I was very disappointed in that. We walked a few times but we were so exhausted the first day we actually lifted the next few times which was great the front desk seemed to condone that when I asked them I don't know why they said that lifting was fine they had no problem taking me for half a mile. The parking is weird you have to scan a little ticket when you go in and there's no reason for the ticket we never use the tickets so that was confusing. Did not clean your room everyday. We don't mind that. The pool was very crowded with a bunch of kids not for adults who just want to relax. And they really monitor it asking you your name how ll I don't really like that I like to just go into the pool freely.

Desk workers are super nice and creates a no worrie settling vibe. They're eager to help you with what you need. Yes, the place is older like the " classic boat ride at Disneyland in Fantasyland, but not everything has to be new to experience the wonderful feeling this hotel has if you are going inside the park.
