It was excellent the service was great and the breakfast much better than advertised. I would recommend it to any one who loves to really relax and leave any warries at home. While I was there my wife had too remind me that where we came from the temperature was 42 Deg I am still with my Lovely Wife

HI Anonymous and thanks for your insightful and informative review of our property. Yes, we are aged, in fact we are 50 years old this year. We have spent every cent we make on upgrading the facilities and rooms best we can afford to so it’s disappointing to read this was not up to your expectations. We have spent a small fortune on upgrading things like air-conditioning, a new roof, insulation, plumbing, rewiring, painting – all the boring stuff people don’t notice, but are important to our guest’s comfort. Some of our rooms are fully refurbished and some are only partially refurbished, which is reflected in the price online. Yes, we have some rooms with 1970s tiling in the bathroom, but we believe in prioritizing spending money on the creature comforts like new beds, new pillows, great linen to ensure our guests comfort. Older tiles which make the room look dated, are less of a priority. Again, guests have the choice to book something more modern if they wish. As for pricing, I think we are in the ballpark of most 3.5 star properties, and I know we provide a lot of extras these properties do not; free bottled water, flat screen smart TVs, pillow menu in the room, FREE fast and efficient WIFI, nicer biscuits, herbal shampoo and conditioner, face washers, better quality coffee- all these things cost us money so the rooms may be a little more expensive than other places, but I would not have thought we were unreasonably priced. Its hard for me to say really, as I have to understand what you are comparing us against, and I don’t really know, so not sure how to tackle that one… With respect to the building being aged, yes, it’s a 1960s motel, and we don’t pretend to be anything other than that. It has a flat roof, it has parking out the front, it looks 60s. We have spent a huge amount of money repainting, putting slate tiling, up-lighting and wo
