Very tired looking accommodation. A lot of updating still required. Cobwebs abound. Pool may as well be non-existent certainly not as advertised. Good points - handy to everything. Lovely hot shower and a comfortable bed.

The property is very run down. Stains on the carpet and certainly not as it looks on the internet. Over priced for the condition and some of the staff not so friendly. Much better accommodation available in St Helens

The view from our spacious room was lovely but there was no wifi access and the stale beer smell from the gaming room and bar/ restaurant downstairs was overpowering. We ate and drank elsewhere. It is a very old hotel that has some refurbished rooms.
