"Good central family option"
Two bedroom apartment was perfect for our family of five. Each room had a queen bed, with a extra bed added to the children's room (extra charge) Great location in central Wellington with major attractions within walking distance. Food court nearby was handy. Only disappointment was erratic temperature of shower and poor pressure, though management did not charge us for additional bed as compensation.

"Relatively quiet location, okay for budget travel"
We spent 2 nights at this hotel - from the 30th of December to the 1st of January. There had been a mixup with our room - the itinerary I received through Wotif didn't match what I had booked (apparently there had been a special request for 2 single beds, which was never made). I had previously tried to email the hotel about the issue but received no response. The girl at the front desk was very apologetic and was able to move us to a room with a king bed instead. Our room was clean if a little outdated. There wasn't any air conditioning available, however, so the room grew stuffy very quickly. We appreciated the opening windows, although this meant that street noise drifted into the room too. The beds were fairly comfortable. Our television would not turn off - only revert back to the hotel's welcome screen - unless we switched it off at the point and the shower head was far too low for both of us. Both my husband and I mentioned to each other during our stay that it felt more like a hostel than a hotel - which is perfectly fine, it's just not what we expected. We took advantage of the buffet breakfast each morning - they were running a special over the New Years period. The food was quite nice, although we did notice other guests having to notify the staff member looking after the dining room that items were low or gone completely. A few more options in the hot breakfast would have been nice but it was overall satisfactory.

"Central hotel so close to downtown Wellington"
Staff were very welcoming. No parking worries as the Concierge took care of that. The room was simple but comfortable.Enjoyed a wonderful nights sleep in the roomy bed. Due to bad weather we chose to dine in and had a very enjoyable buffet dinner. Breakfast was great, plenty to chose from.

"Roomy room at the heart of the city "
Perfect size for large family. Kids loved the pool. Great price too. Room starting to get a bit a tired but this didn't worry us. Some carpet tacks appearing in living area making it sharp to walk over. We covered with door mats. We were told we could leave our bags before check in but phone operator said we had to wait until reception opened. We were grateful that we could have our room earlier so that our toddler could sleep. Would def come back.
