We were unable to access the property on arrival due to a lock failure and could not reach the host for several hours late at night, leaving us locked out after an international flight. We had to arrange a locksmith ourselves. After raising this issue, we were surprised to be accused of causing the lock problem and leaving the property in poor condition, which we strongly dispute. The situation was extremely stressful and overshadowed the start of our stay.
