We previously stayed here many years ago when it first opened. This time we stayed for two nights on 20-21 March 2022 in a Superior Garden Apartment room #18 with a queen and single bed. Car parking is directly outside the room. Our very clean room was large with a kitchenette, small dining table, and all the usual conveniences. It also had a balcony at the back. As a bonus, the room windows open to get some fresh air. Our one issue was that the town water was not working from about 4pm-2am on the second day. Of course this was not the hotel's fault. It was just very inconvenient as it effected half the town. The reception office was a little difficult to locate on when we first checked in - some garden plants are covering up signs. Reception staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Should we ever return to Strahan, we will stay again. Thank you.

Certainly, not having water for so long was inconvenient and something you take for granted until you do not have it. I have cut back the plants from the sign so thank you for making me aware of this.

We had a lovely stay here, the service was warm and friendly. The house was spacious and close to everything in Strahan. The only real negative was that the facilities were quite dated, especially the toilet and bathroom. But overall it was quite nice.

Comfortable close to beach and city centre

We have a family of five and we had a very comfortable stay. The friendly staff had excellent advice on what to see and do in the area.

Quiet location

Pros: Air conditioning and cookin facilities, plus quiet and private location.
Cons: Just the problem with light in the cabin at night.
Location: Cruises on the harbour, train ride, walking trails, great coffee and beaches just out of town.
This accomodation had everything going for it - quiet location, cooking facilities, air conditioning etc. unfortunately the style of door meant light from the outside security light bathed the unit at night making it difficult to sleep. This was exacerbated by a movement sensitive light flicking on if people or creatures passed by. Apart from this, our stay was comfortable and pleasant. It would be good if the owners changes the style of door to a solid one and turned security lights on a lower setting or off at night. There were many exciting things to do in Strahan including boat trips and the train into the rain forest. These were most enjoyable as was the wonderful coffee close to the tourist hub of the town.

Put your dishes away

Very comfortable and clean, good location. Though the $50 cost for not returning plates etc to where they were is excessive! Washing them was not good enough!

Thank you for your positive comments on our accommodation. As for the cleaning notice in the kitchen, I can assure you I do not like having it in the apartments and have only put it there after recently finding a very dirty kitchen with everything used and left dirty requiring my staff to take a very long time to clean and put in order as well as returning crockery and cutlery to the respective apartments they were sharing. Fortunately, I have not applied the fee yet and I hope I do not need to as I am sure you, like most of our guests, respect our kitchen facilities and leave them lovely and clean.

Lovely room with a view

Pros: It is a large area to live in, clean and has all we needed. It has a good sized kitchen which allowed us to prepare and cook our meals each day.
Location: Strahan has the Wilderness Railway and went on the day out boat cruise. There are lovely areas to walk. Loved Mollys food
My husband and I loved staying at the Marsden Court . It has a balcony and is really a lovely home away from home. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thankyou
