Difficult access - very high, steep narrow staircase to access our room as well as another short flight of stairs after the first and odd singular steps up and down on the way. Bedroom had extremely narrow space around the bed. Luggage had to be stored in the primary access doorway. Only one chair provided even though it was a booking for 2. No space for another chair. Room not serviced for 2nd night, no indication that this would occur. My husband has a heart condition and navigating this hotel was way too difficult for him. There was no forewarning that this would be the case and no offer of help with accessing the room and getting the luggage to it. Restaurant service was exemplary, though this did not negate the difficulties.

Great hotel in a charming place
Very helpful staff - especially with carrying our cases upstairs. A wonderful place, with beautifully equipped and furnished room. Only disadvantage was that all rooms are up steep narrow stairs with no elevator, but help of staff dealt with that. Excellent position and good restaurant.
