Shuttle service was a disappointment. Following a 14-hour flight we waited at the SFO hotel shuttle station for more than 30-minutes, watching other hotel shuttles make multiple stops, and, finally resorted to taking a cab to the Hyatt

The property is excellent. As was the staff. I did have a problem with a drunken, noisy couple in the adjacent room, but hotel management resolved the problem by moving me to a nicer, quieter room. I was still a bit upset in the morning, but the manager offered me breakfast. It was such a wonderful experience I left extremely happy!

I very much disliked that there is no way to get fresh air into our hotel room. All “balcony” looking windows did not open, sealed shut. The air was never fresh. It gave me headaches. Overall the hotel is noticeably old although you can’t tell in the pictures. We parked our Mercedes in the garage to keep it out of the rain, it is not considered a tall car but since the garage bumper indicating the height limit of the garage hung far too low, lower than the garage itself, it scratched up the roof of our very expensive car. Leaving us very unsatisfied with the garage. Normally we use valet and were surprised when we found out valet stopped operating during 2020, never to restart again. The garages also, were very dirty. Old leaves and debris everywhere.

Ive stayed here before and have enjoyed it. No complaints. This trip, however, i realized the AC in the room was not cooling anything down. Blower worked but air was not cold. Did not sleep before a long trip when we really needed to.

Hidden Hotel Fees and Tourist Fee

Was not expecting all of the additional charges! Ended up paying an extra $300 for only 3 nights… checked out early. $50 for parking every day…$25 tourists fee per day and all these other crazy fees on top of the big rate I had already paid…. Was not expecting that.
