Excellent location

I stayed at Hotel Caza during my visit to San Francisco and the location was absolutely perfect. It’s just a short walk from Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, and other major attractions, which made it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The area feels safe and has plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel itself was quite nice — clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the common areas were well-kept. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The only good thing I have to say about this place is it's close to Fisherman's Wharf. Made reservations 2 months ahead and asked for adjourning rooms but they did not honor our request !! When we inquired why, we got the run around ! Room furniture is old ! Paid for a partial bay view room, but instead got a room looking at a concrete wall ! Found out because we didn't book through them directly, they just gave us whatever room they wanted to. The bathroom had to fan,so it really fogged up and no shower mat for the tub so it was like skating on ice !! Can you say safe hazard boys and girls ? But hey, the beds were comfy....and $75 dollar a night for parking plus, $35 a night for destination fee (3 nights=$105) ...... No, I don't think we will be staying there again.

Within walking distance of the pier

Great location within walking distance from pier 39. We walked there everyday to eat, shop and hang out. Nice clean room and friendly, helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely disgusting behavior from the staff through on through. That includes at least 4 ladies at the desk that gave both me and my girlfriend disgusting attitude unprompted. I’m never to type to leave reviews or complain but based on my stay I believe it’ll be helpful for folks to know what to expect. I feel robbed quite frankly. Even after complaining multiple times I was still served with attitude. Disgusting.

The room was comfortable and clean. Front desk staff was great! There wasn’t a fridge in the room but it looked like you could get one for a small fee. There are convenience foods there but no restaurant on site. There are many places to eat within walking distance.

Pool wasn’t in working condition

We loved the location, easy parking and cleanliness and size of the room. The main disappointment is that we chose this location to swim which important to our kids sensory needs and happiness. We planned for the day to have pool time and the pool heater was broken/freezing cold. As you can imagine, this affected our ability to relax by the pool and have happy kids who were expecting to enjoy swim time. I would have expected a complimentary evening to return when the pool is fixed but instead they only removed some small Fees.
