The only service that i needed is laundry. One of the reasons I have booked this hotel is for the option to do laundry in rational price. However, the laundry was out of service the entire time of our stay. We had to go to private laundry and do pay. Now, the property changed additional property fee for different services, so I paid ~ lots of money (don’t really know the amount because up to now I didn’t receive any invoice, that I have asked to receive by email) and I’m asking if the only service that I needed was not received the entire time why did I had to lay the property fee or why didn’t the property give me a credit for the money that i have spend in the 3rd party. And I even not speaking on the time I spent to go there and back. And another thing, I received an option, by the hotel team, to send my laundry to 3rd party in a prices that are scandalous. Of i had send my laundry through the hotel at these prices I was finishing with more than 200 usd. And im asking myself… hotel that supposed to havr a self laundering services shouldn’t hold at all operation for 3rd party laundering with prices of gold. My opinion there isn’t any intention to fix the laundry machines or maybe there is no such service and it's all a scam

We had booked two rooms and our confirmation email confirmed early check in at 12pm (based on availability) was included in the Daily Destination Fee of $31 that we paid. Despite confirming the rooms were available the manager checking us in (Nate) said anted to charge us $60 per room to check in or we would have to wait until 4pm. Had no problem waiting if the rooms were unavailable but we had paid a fee for early check in (if available). It was approx 11.50am, had no problem waiting till 12pm either. He became rude when I showed him the email confirming early check in was included in our room and stated he didn’t care. Felt like a money grab and the manager that served us was not welcoming at all so please be careful and check what you have already paid for at this Hotel. He nearly got an extra $120 from us and I am sure we are not the first guests he has done it to. Vanessa (front desk worker) saved the day and ended up checking us in while we were waiting for the manager (Nate) to come back out and speak with us. She is the only reason I gave 2 stars to be honest.

We arrived late and requested a room change, but the front desk staff responded with a poor attitude. We had paid to upgrade to a Bay View Room, but the actual view was extremely disappointing. The window faced directly toward a building that completely blocked most of the bay view. Only a small portion of the bay was visible, and the upgrade fee was clearly not worth the cost. Moreover, the assigned room caused my wife to suffer an allergic reaction. This has never happened in any other carpeted hotel rooms we have stayed in. This raised concerns about the cleanliness or air quality of the room. The laundry service was also frustrating. The information provided in the hotel’s brochure was inconsistent with the actual service, and different staff members gave conflicting answers. Accessing the laundry room required unnecessary effort, and there were very few usable machines. The dryers varied in performance, and one machine failed to dry our clothes properly even after multiple cycles. In addition, the public microwave in the lounge area was in poor condition. It was very dirty and clearly had not been maintained. It was unusable and unhygienic. Overall, our experience did not meet the expectations of a four-star hotel. The room upgrade felt misleading, basic amenities were neglected, and the staff’s inconsistency left

Very close to the muni bus stop so great access to the places we wanted to visit. Coffee was great in the am but nothing for the kids - we went to Trader Joe’s to get them some juice but no fridge in room meant a daily trek to buy fresh juice. We ate breakfast out. The post card system is cute. Friendly staff on desk.

Very nice staff. Like how they had games for kids. Location was nice and room was very clean. Didn’t have a great view but we weren’t in the room much to care and didn’t pay for a city view.

Best Location and our Go-To hotel! This is our second year in a row to stay at Hotel Caza! We are just as impressed this year as we were last year. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and were fortunate to get an early check-in. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful and we love that they make a point to say hello each day of our stay. Nate and Vanessa made our stay the best! The lobby area is awesome with games, snacks, and a bar area. Both times we have booked a partial bay view room and definitely recommend it. The view looks across the bay to Alcatraz and has views of Fisherman’s Wharf, and the Golden Gate Bridge. Amazing! The room is a nice size, clean, and comfortable. Huge shout out to the cleaning staff who always say hello when we are walking down the hall and do some of the best room cleaning we have seen. The location is absolutely perfect for walking or taking public transport to anywhere in the city. The hotel is right on Columbus Avenue which allows us to easily access Little Italy, Chinatown, the Cable car lines, Ghirardelli Square, Lombard Street, and Pier 39. We love being minutes away from everything. We love this hotel and have and will continue to recommend it to others.

Very nice hotel adjacent to Fisherman's Wharf, The Cannery and Ghiradelli Square. The staff is super friendly and helpful and our room was very nice. We were on the 5th floor facing east with a view of the Bay and Alcatraz. Nice room with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom facilities. However, it did not have a mini-fridge, which would have been nice and the street sounds were occasionally pretty loud with high-revving cars, motorcycles and trash and delivery trucks.
