⭐ 1-Star Review: Extremely Cold Room, Broken Heater, and Poor Service
I stayed at this hotel in Fisherman’s Wharf with my dad after a long day of traveling, hoping for a comfortable night’s rest. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible from the moment we checked in. The room was extremely cold, and the heater was completely broken.
I called the front desk right after checking in around 8 PM, and they said they would send an engineer to fix it. Instead, they only sent up two thin, itchy blankets and no one ever came to repair the heater. I couldn’t sleep all night because I was freezing and ended up giving both blankets to my dad so he could stay warm.
To make matters worse, the next morning at 8:30 AM, the front desk called asking if they could come fix the heater — even though we were checking out that morning. After such a miserable night, it’s unbelievable they would want to wake my dad just to fix a problem that should have been handled the night before.
We paid almost $300 for the room plus $44 for parking, which is outrageous considering street parking was free due to government closures, and we parked right in front of the hotel anyway.
This is supposed to be a nice hotel, but our experience was the complete opposite. Cold, uncomfortable, and poor service. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.
