I am a San Francisco native and I’ve stayed so many places now that I’ve moved out of the city and this will be the hotel. I stay at for the rest of my life here because it has the best value for what you pay. You will not find a better hotel for a better price it is central. I was able to walk everywhere in the city and to Bart and Muni the hotel stuff was incredibly nice and professional .

The staff at check in was great, and they had off street parking which in SF is rare. The only thing that wasn’t five stars were the pillows, was to thin and hard for my liking and the AC sounded like it was on its last leg. But it was a nice hotel and centrally located to every where we wanted to go

The photos really did match our experience. It is an old hotel, but they have maintained it well. Sure the carpet is not brand new, but it is clean. There were no issues with cleanliness at all through the hotel. Due to having young children we had to move one bed up against the wall, and this showed that it was spotless even under the beds. The staff were friendly but not in your face, and really treated our children with care. The cookies and apples available at the front desk were a real nice touch
