My colleague had a pair of $200 sneakers removed from inside his locked hotel room and this hotel did absolutely nothing about it, and even tried to blame him. They wouldn't even follow up with him- *he* had to keep asking *them* to provide updates. They acted as though his requests they look into what happened to his shoes was a massive inconvenience from the start, and were utterly indifferent to the fact that someone who wasn't him had access to the room. No offers of restitution were made, and no attempt to look into it (*he* had to ask if they could check the key card record, or if they had security cameras, after *days* of them not looking into it). I'm not expecting them to become Sherlock Holmes, but when he came to them to report something of value was missing from his room they began with complete disinterest and by the end they were hostile to him and acted as though he was being unbearably difficult by expecting them to respond.
I do want to note that the staff that works the breakfast station, as well as some front desk staff, were incredibly kind and helpful to him. But other front desk staff and the manger were just awful to my colleague, who was unfailingly polite and patient with them.
You will see other reviews complaining about vagrancy outside the hotel. I will tell you that the *only* thing that made me feel unsafe staying here was the way someone was able to enter the room uninvited w/ management's utter indifference.
