Once you arrive the staff greets you gets you checked in and gives you a tour of the resort and so much information about their services and times for the restaurants and shows as well as activities scheduled every day everyone was so welcoming and friendly our family had a wonderful time we stay a whole week our kids enjoyed the pools and water slides

The location is isolated. The road to the hotel is not paved. The food quality is not high. The beach is dirty and can't be used. Most staff speak no English.

We had a great time. The vibe is very zen and super chilled. Not too crowded. The hotel is 10/10 with cleanliness and service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate the best they can with whatever we needed. The effort shows. The food was good quality and diverse. Alcoholic drinks were descent and also wood quality. The entertainment could be a bit better especially after 9:30pm and on, but, maybe it was because we traveled right before peak season. Overall I would definitely come back with the family for future family vacations.

The hotel was nice. Staff was attentive. Food was okay but would’ve liked more seafood as a selection. As a Hyatt I would’ve expected better food and more quality alcohol. Also the kids waterpark closed at 5pm but sunset not until 730pm ish. Also no bar/food hut close to waterpark kids area making it difficult for adults to get away. The pool bar closed at 5pm but pools don’t close till 8. Then closest bar/food area was in main hotel area that you had to walk to. The beach unfortunately had sargassum which is not something the hotel can control I know. Also I was told the wine bottle I was buying at restaurant was $30 but at check out the cost was closer to $60 and then I could only use a $10 coupon, didn’t let me use the $20 Expedia coupon. But overall good experience.

The hotel and everything was beautiful, however, the beach area right now is not. There was a lot of sargassum, so you couldn’t really get in it and swim. Pools and bars close early so that was a downer close early at 8pm and then the water park closed at 5pm. Food and drinks were okay but not what was expected for being a Hyatt hotel/resort, and then for being by the sea, you would think there would be a lot of fresh seafood options.

If you are expecting a beautiful beach, you’re going to be disappointed. The beach is so small and dirty. Find some other resort in the Zona Hoteleira. The stuff that works in the restaurant and bars are great, very nice people. The rooms are very clean. One major advice, don’t fall for the invitation to go see other hotel, they say you can get a 100 gift card, if go for the 2 hours tour with the other hotel, but is a big scam, they are trying to sell you some very expensive World of Hyatt membership. Stay away from this scam
