Very noisy in the mornings due to being across the road from a truck depot so 6am wake ups when windows were closed it was still very noisy. Not 4 sets of cutlery, bowls etc even though we rented a2 bedroom apartment for 4 people. Big room size but average and basic furnishings. Coffee pod machine but no pods or instructions on what to buy

Disappointing Too many steps for seniors. we paid a premium for the swim up pool room which had no rail or steps to get in and out so we couldn’t use the pool from our room. We booked fo eight days and had to book out two days early due to noisy intoxicated people in the pool late at night outside our room, we lost $500 in booking fees which I feel should be compensated. We moved Port Douglas to the Mantra Trilogy Cairns for the two days a much better experience Saturday and Sunday for $350 . Dissatisfied Lou Kesby NSW

I certainly apologise for the noise in the pool that impacted your stay. The hotel has 24/7 afterh ours service and staff on call to monitor these situations so it is disapointing on this occasion it was not sorted quicker. Little info given to me at check in eg access local bus services ; things to do when not doing a day outing. No hair dryer in bathroom; only 1 small soap available. Room really needs to have a table or small desk to actually eat at. No cutlery in room- need at least a knife and fork.
