Food was amazing, Room was super clean, if your younger I recommend you stay more towards Cancun the taxi to get out of here is really expensive and Ubers or didi can’t pick up in playa del Carmen so you’re stuck paying over 100 dollars ONE WAY each time. Also recommend to arrange a way to get here because they also don’t allow uber in the airport and got stuck paying 140 in taxi fees just to get in here. Other than that if you’re more on the calm side and not looking to leave the resort this is a good place with friendly staff.

There is an outlet near the pool that is not GFCI. It could be dangerous and needs to be replaced ASAP. Other than that it is very nice. Staff friendly food very good.

The fine dining food options lived up to expectations. Having delicious food in an all inclusive resort is key and their service, very friendly staff, plenty of food options, and high quality food was pleasantly surprising. Secondly, i cant talk enough about how relaxing and wonderful the Zen Spa is. I would recommend the check in package which gets a couple a 50 minute massage followed by hydrotherapy and a body scrub you apply yourself before doing hydrotherapy. We enjoyed it so much we went again at the end of our trip before we left. Would absolutely stay here again.

We expected this hotel Zilara to be just as good as the one in Cancun Hotel District, but it fell short. The property is a bit dated. The hot water in our room did not work properly. It was reported twice and when the maintenance person would come they would temporarily fix the issue then go back to cold water. The staff was not as attentive as the hotel Zilara in Cancun are. The shows were very limited and not as enjoyable. The food was not tasty.

I wanted to give good review,Hyatt Zilara.I am usually disappointed&my expectations are never met,but at Hyatt they exceeded my expectations:)Shout out to my waiter Jorge at Italian restaurant,wonderful service! I think he will be a manger one day :) also chef Hugo some of the best food I have ever had! THANK YOU for making my trip so much better. take your dinners there.Dinner at buffet was boring &unappealing& a lot of pork.needs more variety Thai restaurant ambiance was off,needs improvement in menu too(any Thai restaurant need to have a curry on the menu at least)my meal was flavorless ,some aspects over cooked and didn't taste Thai??) Also breakfast buffet service was wonderful shout out to Norma, and omelette lady Im sorry forgot your name but anyways she was amazing too. I was very happy staying at this hotel so thank you . Beach was very nice despite lots of seaweed, which could be prevented in many different methods if the hotel invested something towards that issue, I also really liked the size of the property not too big to walk miles to get to beach restaurants or cafe or anything . Only suggestions is , while I understand many guests choose to use private cars(very over priced and rip off) they should provide a shuttle service to airport and for outings so guests have a safe (especially for ladies alone or in groups) and affordable option to be encouraged to go out to see the city , and go on trips wherever.
