The property overall was really good. The food was very good at the restaurants, just average to below average for the buffet. The one downfall…We upgraded and paid for swim up rooms but never used them because we were a group of 4 couples and we were split to opposite sides of the resort. It was very upsetting when we checked in. They could not accommodate us to be together.

Loved the staff. Property wasn't at capacity and there were not enough pool chairs for guests. Every day it was a battle to find 2 chairs together that had some shade (or umbrella). Several guests experienced this too. Last resort I stayed at did not charge for cabanas. This resort at $50/day seemed high.

My group of 4 couples had a fantastic time at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya. Everything was amazing from check-in to check-out. Great food, awesome drinks, cool entertainment, rooms were perfect! We loved the swim out feature, but I know every room there is great. Really nice beach, outdoor pool, and multiple bars. I could not recommend this place more!!!

It was a good solid place. Nice beach pool and pretty good food once you learned where to eat and not eat.

From the warm hospitality from the moment you step on the property was so inviting! Our room outdoor pool area was everything we hoped for and more. The different cuisines served were absolutely delicious, from their aquachile to surprisingly yummy Italian! We loved to be able to support local artists at the night market on property and really enjoy the events like casino night! A trip we’ll be talking about for awhile for sure. ☺️

I would love to visit again! The entire staff was extremely friendly and professional and personable. At check-in I was met at my shuttle and ushered through the check-in process all the way to my room. Similar process during checkout. great resort, great spa experience, cool entertainment, and still pretty laid-back. I wish there were additional food options but only because I’m extra picky. Not bad. I enjoyed the food overall.

Most staff was friendly. Some were not. We were referred to their app to reserve cabanas, but it did not work. Service at the restaurants were mid and not enough to accomodate the amount of people staying at the resort.

Overall, we had a very nice time. The staff was mostly very friendly, especially Miguel at Lola, Raul at Capri, and Ernesto at the pool. They were great! The water both at the pool and beach were awesome. The beach is nice and the sand is soft. I hate the chair game, but I know it’s worse at other resorts. Compared to last year when we stayed, I think the food quality at the restaurants has gone down a little. However, the poolside bbqs were great! Loved the variety. And the outdoor Mexican night was amazing! We had a good time as a group of friends. (I have to include that we turned down the upgrade because we didn't want to be facing the pool and preferred to be closer to our friends.)

The property was okay. Very small, easy to walk everywhere. The problem was the food was absolutely horrific, inedible at times. The entertainment was absolutely horrendous as well.

The Hyatt Zilara is wonderful. All the staff are extremely kind and the food is delicious. There are so many activities to participate in and the grounds are clean and well taken care of. We loved our stay!!

Great relaxing resort. Only two problems. Only had one staff member checking in on Sunday around 5pm for a larger group. Drinks were not always consistent. Other than that, we would definitely go back. Food was excellent and coffee shop was amazing.
