I have stayed at this beautiful hotel many times over the last 20 years. Coco Rio has character, it’s cozy and very comfortable. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. The place is well kept and the ladies in charge of housekeeping are absolutely wonderful. It is close to everything, restaurants, shops and Mamita’s beach. I will continue to stay at Coco Rio

Nice stay but loud street

Nice place to stay, however beware if you get assigned a street facing room. Music from the restaurants outside the hotel is very loud and goes on till late night.

Everything was very good except one thing-free breakfast. Location was the best not so loud neighbor and right on 5th. And clean and functional. But they didn’t offer free continental breakfast that showed in the reservation. They said there was miscommunication between Expedia and hotel. I didn’t strongly enforce to request to have free meal, but didn’t feel good. Other than that, all good.

Cute small hotel. My room (19) had a pump across the wall, so it woke me up in the morning. On the third day they told me that breakfast is not included for me, although when I booked on Expedia it had breakfast included. I had to contact Expedia for conformation. That is why 4 stars. The location is great. I was allowed to keep my bicycle in the yard. Breakfast is rather modest. Not enough for a grown up man. Overall I would recommend the hotel.

Empty hotel, but I was put on the top floor. Asked about changing to the bottom floor, but told they were all dirty. Clean room. Decent bed...but NO hot water in the morning. Tried to explain it to Jesus, but he just kept repeating himself that he could do nothing about it and they never had issue before. No worries Jesus. I was leaving...only letting you know for future reference!
