Should have just turned around when I saw our room had a bag of garbage and piles of dog shat in front of it, but after 20 hours on the road, I couldn't. Horrible filthy room. Everything had stains, cigarette burns, other peoples hair and who knows what else on it. Loud a/c, crackheads knocking on your door, sketchy all around. Only one of the lights in the room worked (I assume because they didn't want you to see how gross the room was), coffee maker didn't work, refrigerator froze everything, peeling paint, cracked sink, carpet frayed and so grimy. Sheets made of sawdust and sandpaper, and STAINED. Disability room bars in bathrooms were not in helpful locations with a step in tub and hard to work faucet that you couldn't reach from shower bench. Of the thousands of hotel rooms I have stayed in, and some were less than idea, this was the nastiest place hands down. If I could give a negative score, I would. Don't stay here.

I've tried to call the front desk 4 times now. once last night about 11:30pm, no answer. then twice from the room about midnight to request a different room and to report a broken towel rack left on the microwave to let them know it was there when we got there. the room was filthy and had writing on the mirrors in red letters. The door was not secure and looked to be easily broken into, it made us nervous and we called again about 6am when we were being bothered by someone trying to break into the room. we left immediately and didn't stop til we got out of the area. I tried to call the front desk again about 9:30am, no answer. We didn't get any sleep at all, and was there less than 5 hours. I want to request a full refund due to the unsafe environment this hotel is in and the filthy room, and no safe passage to and from the room. kindly refund me the cost of the room 84.00 and provide a credit and upgrade to a 4 star hotel to another location free of charge for the horrible experience we had. I want to officially report this location as uninhabitable and nobody should stay there! what can you do for me?

I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. From the moment I arrived, I could tell things were off. The place felt unsafe—there were people loitering around the hallways at all hours, loud arguing outside my door, and no staff anywhere to be found when I tried to report it. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my belongings in the room or even stepping out at night. The room itself was filthy. The floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in who knows how long, the bedding had visible stains, and the bathroom was honestly the worst part. Mold in the shower, hair everywhere, and a horrible smell that never went away. I asked for a different room, but they told me they were “fully booked,” even though the parking lot was almost empty. To make things even worse, the door lock felt loose, and the window didn’t close properly. I barely slept because I didn’t feel safe. Save yourself the stress and skip this hotel. It’s not worth the money, no matter how cheap it seems. I checked out early and found somewhere else because I just couldn’t stay another night.

The deadbolt did not lock, there were holes in the bathroom door. Coffee pot and hairdryer weren't functional. There appeared to be a large blood stain on the carpet. Hard to find because, at least through Expedia, this is listed as La Quinta but actual sign at hotel is a Travelodge. Booked due to a Free breakfast but was told on arrival that they stopped offering that a while ago.
