Location is excellent, walking distance to everything. Hotel is nice, nothing fancy but comfortable. There’s no restaurants in the hotel but plenty of options all around.

Fun in Philly

Overall, great place to stay. Clean. Quiet. Convenient. Apparently the lobby coffee machine was awesome. Love the water-bottle filling stations on each floor, but they don't recycle aluminum or glass! (Please make an option for beds WITHOUT pillowtops on mattresses, some people like me want a firm surface).

First night there had a problem with room, next morning Anthony at front desk took care of it right away, showed me new room and everything else was perfect.

Most reviews I read were for stays of two or three nights. I stayed for ten — long enough to see the cracks. The bathroom feels like an afterthought: a very low toilet, paper behind your back, no grab bars or ledge in the shower. Faucets are oddly angled, turning handwashing into a wrist stretch. The room looked spacious online but wasn’t. One drawer for ten days, and the TV only faces the bed — useless from the desk. A complimentary upgrade was promised, then changed to $25 a night, then “depends on the day.” Accessibility? The elevator doors close so quickly, one broke the skin on my arm. The vending machine has listed Diet Coke all week but never had one. Laundry? A self-serve washer/dryer. The wash cycle was fine. Drying took over six hours — and even then, clothes were damp. And parking — the “discounted” hotel rate is $58/day. That added $580 to my stay. For a quick trip, this place might do. But if you’re staying more than a few nights, expect compromises. Lots of them.

Our room was behind the reception desk in a labyrinth, bootleg area just to squeeze more rooms in. We were also completely unaware of the parking situation as it is not advertised on the website or when booking.
