I am an advent traveler and here is my take on the experience. I’ll start with the Pro’s: -Very convenient location to all the parks, only 1.5 miles away or so, I suggest to uber there and back. - The property is nice and quaint -The price is not bad at all, especially if you’re ok with minimum other than a pool/hot tub. -Little splash pad for kids was a nice touch. -Front desk staff is pleasant and calls you once you get settled and asks if they can help you with anything. Now the cons: -On Expedia, it says they have a shuttle bus which is why I chose this property to begin with- there is NO shuttle bus. -The breakfast is very mid and not efficient at all the way it’s operated. There is a set menu, meaning they only serve one thing a day. The staff does not refill drinks or even give you cream and sugar for coffee and the breakfast itself is terrible. My menu plate was chicken and waffles, hash browns and fruit. The chicken is microwaved tenders and the waffle square is as big as your palm and hard as a brick. My opinion on improvement is having a continental breakfast, would be more efficient and with more options, at least you can refill your own drink. - My room was never cleaned/beds made, however, the broom was left behind for me to sweep the floors myself I guess? -Last but not least, there’s of course time share nonsense they try and get you with. Would I stay again? Not unless they fix the breakfast situation bottom line, I can look past everything else.

Staff is really nice, they received us with treats for our little dog and tickets for breakfast. We love that hotel is near from Universal Studios, it has free parking and a Lyft to the park takes only 10 minutes. Breakfast options are tasty and the kids enjoyed it. Room was clean and quiet, with microwave and refrigerator, excellent for our family group. The only thing is that the app says that hotel offers free shuttle to parks and it doesn't, no transportation is offered.

I like the idea the property was going for, but there is a lot left to be desired. I paid extra to check in an hour early just to spend half that time be checked in, put in the wrong room, call the front desk and to be told to go back down stairs to get another room which would have been fine except I was put in the room right NEXT to the one I was put in, in error 322 and 323. Sending someone come up with the correct key, can make a world of difference n someone’s satisfaction with the hotel. The next morning my debit card didn’t work and when I called my bank it’d because their first charge went through and they for some reason kept running the charge and they were flagged as fraud and declined. The A/C is so incredibly loud that it was difficult to sleep. The breakfast the next morning was served with a small portion of my sausage bit off. One of the managers were made aware but the damage was done. Probably won’t return.

Had potential, but fell short

The property itself was nice, modern, and mostly clean. The best part of the hotel is the pool area with hot tub and cabanas - it was certainly a selling point. The staff was all friendly enough, but the breakfast experience was terrible. The food was not well prepared, the waffles were frozen egos, there were no options other than what was served, they were very short staffed, poorly managed, and not well-trained. They would be much better off just serving a grab-and-go or buffet like everyone else. The fitness center left a lot to be desired as well. The one weight machine in the room had broken cable pulleys and there were no free weights, just cardio. The location was great and the hotel was nice, but they could do a lot better.

Pros: -clean -comfortable bed -close to restaurants, shops and attractions -pool and hot tub were well kept -free parking Cons: -no coffee in rooms. Only in the lobby -no complimentary tea at all -no buffet style breakfast. Only one option. Food was not great. Waffles were hard. Food seemed like it had been kept warn since early morning. Not "fresh" tasting. -AC in rooms is quite loud
