Pleasantly surprised

Very impressed with the DASKK hotel. It was modern and very clean. Loved the room design and decor. The bathroom was the icing on the cake. Shower was awesome with excellent water pressure, detachable shower head, and plenty of hot water. Love having separate living space in the room with modern sink, fridge, and microwave. Front desk staff were awesome and parking was free and plentiful. Pool and spa area were very nice too. Pool hours posted were from dawn to dusk. Would be nice to have the pool open later as many people spend the majority of the day sightseeing. Would be nice to have a relaxing night time swim. Staff serving at breakfast could have been a little more pleasant and attentive. Overall great stay.

We liked that it was quiet and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The room layout was nice and comfortable. The wifi worked perfectly. It was nice to have a good working mini fridge and microwave. The staff was exceptional. So friendly and attentive. Now, the things we didn't like. It could be cleaner. In fairness the lobby was clean and the pool area was well maintained BUT the hallways,the elevator and the room need a lot more attention. Specifically, the bathroom area. The window had face and handprints on it, their complimentary soaps in the shower were empty. The floor of the shower was dirty, I cleaned it myself and that's when I found out the water pressure was non existent. None of the things I didn't like would stop me from staying here in the future. I'm simply being open about the things I noticed in hopes that on our next stay we can review that it was spectacular because the Daskk is so close! Oh and please fix the hot tub and leave a net so that we can skim the bugs cause you know Florida!

We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights, in mid April. The hotel is newly renovated and rooms are spacious. The furniture , the sheets and towels are in excellent condition. The infant bed was already in a room, a big thanks for that! Need to add, that the breakfast sucks. There was only one cook in the kitchen who prepares food for 20-40 people at a time. On 4/14, it took us 1 HOUR to get the breakfast on the table, after we placed an order. We clearly said, we don’t want sausages on our plates, but all 5 breakfast plates had sausages. Would be nice if the chef changed his gloves after preparing each meal. Remember, there are people with dietary restrictions: halal, kosher and etc. The breakfast was good, but definitely doesn’t worth the wait. Expect to eat the same food every single morning. We stayed here for 7 nights, so I know what I’m talking about. Expect to eat: Eggs, hashbrowns, biscuits and sausages every single morning. Let’s talk about the pool. The pool closes at 11 pm, so expect the noise. The pool is good, the splash area is located next to the pool, which is a plus, but doesn’t have the seating area. The hotel is overall very clean. There was no “do not disturb” door sign. The housekeeping is done upon request ONLY, and most of the time they didn’t do a good job. The floors were gross, wear shoes in the room. Would I stay here? Definitely not.
