We had a great stay at The Maritime - loved it! This property is amazing! It is beautiful, comfortable and so close to everything - subway, food, shopping. My husband loved the daily breakfast and coffee. Will definitely stay here again.

This was the quietest hotel experience I have had in NYC. I couldn't hear the street from my room at night and the lobby was such a nice landing pad for us. The lobby staff was very helpful I didn't realize it came with a complimentary breakfast, which easily saved us $80. Just enough to get you out the door with coffee, pastries, yogurt and juices. My two teensy complaints are we didn't get early check-in and the mattress felt like an old, firm spring mattress. But I would definitely recommend this neighborhood and hotel!

Really nice. Smaller boutique hotel. Staff was great. Valet/indoor parking. Rooms are small but well maintained. Free breakfast in lobby every am. Would stay there again. Just needs to have room service and lobby bar. Love the nautical history/theme.

Nice design, dead vibe

Love the design. It was comfortable, but oddly, too quiet. I checked in around 9pm on a Saturday night and the lobby was absolutely empty. Door man outside and one person at the front desk and that was it. Weirdly silent. Even the next morning, I felt like perhaps I was the only one in this hotel (though I know that’s not the case, because I got to hear the neighboring room occupants have some sexy time the night before.) checked it out because the design looked interesting, and it was, but not the vibe I want in my NYC hotel.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the Chelsea area of Manhattan. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice breakfast offering. Comfortable room, except for somewhat saggy mattress. I would definitely recommend, and visit again in the future.
