GREAT location, very nice and clean, and free breakfast was good. The only downside to my experience was their elevators weren’t always working (I was on the 33rd floor) and most of the housekeeping staff was rude. However, overall they were fantastic!

The room was very small, but it is New York. The elevators were also very small and, especially in the morning when people were getting breakfast or checking out, the wait would be a long time to get on an elevator, and then would often stop at every floor, or most of them, making it that much longer. Several times, I had to wait 3 or 4 cycles of the elevator passing before I was able to get on one. It has a 6 person capacity, which people often ignore. Also, I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express’ around the nation, and this one had the worst breakfast out of them all. (And they all offer the same exact things)

Close enough to Times Square and Subway station, but far enough away that it’s not crazy crowds outside hotel. Also didn’t hear any road noise from room but we were on the 36th floor so that might have been it.

Not a very good experience could barely understand the desk clerk behind the desk wasn’t very friendly. Only two elevators available for almost 38 floors half of the time the elevators got stuck carpeting on the floor was dirty.

We had a good stay. The hotel is well located with quick access to subway and bus network. The room was quite small, but being NYC, it was expected. The breakfast was good and well stocked. There were a lot of customers but staff ensured breakfast went smoothly.

The staff were excellent, everyone was very friendly and happy to help. Unfortunately our room was disappointing and did not look like the pictures online. The room smelt like mildew and we found mould/mildew in the shower. The mirror had bits torn off it and there was someone else’s hair stuck to the ceiling. We came back one day to find the shower curtain had been removed and not replaced although they did replace this quickly when we asked. The beds felt quite precarious as they were double mattresses balanced on too-small frames. The outlets by the bed did not work. Yes this is a budget hotel but the price was still very high and did not match up to the room we were given. Again, the staff who were great were the highlight but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and wouldn’t stay here again. Much too expensive for a shabby room that needs renovating/updating.

Excellent customer service. The rooms were always clean. The breakfast was delicious and varied. They had free water and Lay's chips available for the customers . They helped me arrange transportation back to the airport. And the most importantly, the location was excellent close to everything. I definitely recommend it.10/10

New York break

Given a really awful room on arrival 3402, so many problems with it. Changed room the following morning and got a better city view room, which is what we had booked 3304, but not given previously. Much better room. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast a fun experience
