First time staying in the aloft hotel in manhattan (Chelsea), good location parking garages, real close by. Check in was very smooth and simple, however I booked a room with a king bed, when I’m checking in they tell me they had some last minute changes so I ended with a double queen higher floor bigger room. I would definitely come back and stay anytime, spacious bathrooms clean everything was nice the lobby is hip and cool smelled very clean.

Great hotel and great location for a visit to New York. We stayed 4 nights and this hotel is centrally placed to be able to walk to many attractions and has a subway stop at the end of the street. Staff were generally friendly (except the breakfast/ snack bar staff for some reason). ‘Breakfast’ is in fact a $10 voucher to spend in the food to go place at the ground floor, which doesn’t get you much and it’s not great food either, so would not recommend unless this is free with the room.

There was no door separating the shower from the bedroom. Fine for the beautiful people; total cringe for everybody else. And what's up with the strobe light on the fire alarm. You can see that at night with your eyes closed. Finally, as to be expected in NYC: tiny rooms.
