This is a sweet little hotel that looks better in the photos than in the light of day. Nothing bad or wrong, just small and a little dingy. Not close to much, but a short drive into Monterey proper. Staff and service were good - very friendly and helpful.

The staff was very nice and professional. The room could use some updating and repairs (for example, the bathroom door had a large hole in it that had been poorly patched up and painted over). Because of the location, and the cleanliness, none of this would bother me too much. The reason i'm giving it a three stars is because of the rickety bed mattress, which was very uncomfortable. I recommend you replace it with something of better quality.

Right across from the beach, close to restaurants and the aquarium! Parking was super convenient. Cute courtyard with seating too! We'll definitely be back!

Our 2nd trip to this hotel and we will probably be back. Close to the beach and the wharf. Super comfy bed and pillows. Friendly staff. Pool and hot tub were under repair, but the hotel let us know ahead of time. One of the fire pits stopped working while we were there, staff did their best to fix. Really liked the sugars and creamers for the coffee service instead of those wasteful packets. 3 suggestions, get rid of the individual shampoo bottles to be more eco friendly, refill coffee and creamers daily, and be sure to clean behind the bathroom door…
