The hotel itself can use a lot of TLC. But checking in as late in the night as I did was comforting. With it being just myself and my daughter I already felt kind of unsafe but the gentleman at the front desk was kind and willing to answer all of my questions.
I noticed that when I went to my room one of the bed linens had not been changed just made up as it had visible new stains on the outside of the top sheet. Previously being in hotel hospitality and being aware of the shortcuts tons of my coworkers would take I am that this was one. I asked the gentleman for a change of sheets and he offered to switch rooms but it was late and we were tired and didn't feel like moving so we stayed and changed the sheets.
Upon checking out I noticed on the wall that there was a blood stain by the trashcan in the room that did not look liker there was any attempt to clean...
I say off of this to say customer service was wonderful and if it were solely based off this " would definitely return. However, the cleaning of the rooms is completely unforgivable. I feel like with a hotel of this age/condition staff should try extra hard to maintain the facilities to make people want to stay and return.
